Don't know why they bothered to release it at all. Andy must surely only appeal to the housewife, all of whom will have bought the album last week. Those who wanted it.

Ah, it's a funny day :D

Gorillaz first album is definitely being sold cheap (£3.99 I believe) so that's why its back in the Top 40. I will be buying it later this week ^_^

and virgin, probably everywhere? are all the cheap albums on emi and mute this week?

Jinky I believe is a ex-Celtic football player. I'm not sure if he's moved clubs, retired or dead.

Perhaps a Celtic fan can enligthen us about it. btw the main is great.

Not a Celtic fan but Jinky died recently after a long illness (motor neurone disease?). He was one of the greats of Scottish football. He's revered by Celtic fans and also recognised as a great football legend by many Rangers fans. The Lord of the Wing refers to his position he was a winger, in old football terms.
Yup, since he played nearly all his football in Scotland he was never so well known south of the border. But he is frequently named, along with Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law and Jim Baxter as one of the four greatest Scottish players of all time.

Albums generate more sales - they obviously know that Andy will be an albums act.

Charlotte
