Yep, all those are in line. It's just about working out what to use until then. We need songs that can compete with the type of songs that the other forums are sending which are, generally, modern bops that appeal to general fans as well as hardcore fans. There's 80s classics like 'Holiday', 'Into the Groove' and 'Open Your Heart', fan favourites like 'The Power of Goodbye' and the more 'modern' sounds of 'Music' and '4 Minutes'... just about deciding what would do well in a competition like this.

Although I don't know what I'd have gone for instead to be fair - the older ones aren't known with younger posters while the later ones are not stanned across Buzzjack in the same way that some of the more recent acts with a forum are. Anyway, I've voted - primarily just for Madge and Gaga but I found 7 other passable ones.

Yeah that's the dilemma we're having! We've got a solid string of big hitters for the final rounds but it's just working out what can take us up to that point. We've got the singles rates as a guide but that can only help so much as we've got to consider what will appeal to fans of the other, more recent, acts. Feels like a few forums are using their big hitters very early on so hopefully they'll run out of material before long!
May 22, 20196 yr EY is a a safe choice I stan! think 4 Minutes would have been a good choice for this round or around now. I've noticed big recentish hits are doing better than in-forum fan favs, it's the kind of song that would pick up loads of casual votes I think.

May 22, 20196 yr Author I'm shocked! I know it's much older than the other songs in the poll but it's very well-known and catchy. It's underperformance gives us less options as I don't see the likes of 'Holiday' or 'Open Your Heart' performing any better if this couldn't. We'll be going for something more modern next round, possibly 'Jump' or '4 Minutes'. Kinda wondering how 'Die Another Day' would do - a polarising Bond theme but as a song itself it seems to be favoured a lot more recently.
