Hold up, I thought 'Angels Like You' was shoo-in for the next single?

its a bit all over the place atm... are they focusing on 'Prisoner'... then there was talks of 'Angels Like You' being a winter single... then there was a rumour 'Night Crawling' was going to be the third and final single and now PH is rumoured.

I hope they don't squander the campaign in the new year like they did with Bangerz.

i mean she's in a good position but prisoner right now is starting to pick up - she should wait until single #3 until February

Come the new year I can see the album/singles getting large boosts. In part due to all the Christmas songs falling away. I hope they release another single in January/February. ALY preferably!

‘Prisoner’ is bound to be top 10 again in January, stick with that until Feb!

That's a pretty decent result for it! I'm still really liking the majority of this, there are quite a few more potential hits I think so I do hope she doesn't just give up on the era

It's holding on really well. I could see it returning to the top 10 in the new year with all the Christmas songs/albums falling out. "Midnight Sky" & "Prisoner" will likely both go back into the the top 10 as well :cheer:

Seems like Plastic Hearts is going to be the next single, I can see prisoner still getting a push for the next month or so but she’s dropping a lyric video for plastic hearts firstly

As far as I'm aware, they are still focusing on "Prisoner", but the title track is, as previously mentioned, the candidate as the next single. There's not an adds date for "Plastic Hearts" yet, but it's currently as a FYC to radio programmers.

Makes sense as ‘Prisoner’ has only been about 4 weeks and Xmas has dominated much of that, it’ll still be huge through January for me!

Yeah it would be a waste to just give up on Prisoner especially since it's a collab with Queen of 2020 Dua. That said, it isn't one of my faves on the album - I would rate Plastic Hearts, Midnight Sky, Gimme What I Want, Night Crawling, Bad Karma and WTF Do I Know above it. Maybe even Never Be Me. The best part of Prisoner is the "I tasted heaven now I can't live without it / I can't forget you and your love is the loudest" bit. :wub:

Plastic Hearts would be a good single for single 3 in February especially when Prisoner will be on ACR, it’s #164 on iTunes, it would be top 60 if it wasn’t for Xmas songs which is already out peaking album release performance

I honestly think this could be her biggest album yet in the UK - I'm expecting it to have great legs given all the radio airplay she's been getting ("Prisoner #1 and "Midnight Sky" #21 in the airplay chart currently - although Midnight Sky will rise a lot in the new year again as there are 15 Xmas songs ahead). Once Christmas is over, both "Prisoner" and "Midnight Sky" will likely skyrocket back up the chart - I expect "Prisoner" to reach a new peak! Although I believe "Midnight Sky" is going on ACR? I'm wondering if it'll go back on SCR due to it increasing in streams once again though - especially with all the Christmas songs fading away fast.

 

I hope they do a promo blitz in the UK for the 3rd single.

I feel like Prisoner will go top five next week too, it really needs a big push on streaming and higher up on playlists.

 

It'a shame Midnight Sky is going into ACR but it should be able to increase enough to go on SCR especially as it's had rather low streams, i predict it to remain top 40 next week but probably climb close to top 10 the following week.

 

I do feel like 'Plastic Hearts' is gonna be pushed in February and - it's ashame that there is going to be no big shows as she's already done Norton.
