Yeah I can’t see that character having anything past the current storyline. I think it may also confirm one of my theories over the storyline anyway.

Why haven’t the police been all over Mel as it is? Did they honestly not think she would be harbouring her own son?

Also is it just me, or is Daisy aging twice as fast as a normal human?

I swear they’ve used Honey’s ‘the world is your lobster’ before.

I dont think hes that bad at all,he isnt the best by any means.

FFS what are they even doing with Martin?

I hate it when an actor goes on maternity leave and there has to be a massive story to keep them away. Stacey could easily just not be on screen for a while doing stuff with the 20 Slater kids or something. Martin’s material since has been awful and that just looks like it’s going to get worse.

I agree as most maternity leave storylines make no sense, they should just pre record a few scenes where the actress is seen on the show to cover the time away and slot them in.

The cast is so big though that you shouldn’t even have to prerecord anything.
I'm hoping the adam exit ends up been something as I have a feeling it will be a disappointing exit unless they go with a who killed him type storyline.
Im really enjoying the building of mels exit and tonight was great for that, all the rest is very hit and miss, jack now the go to for every police matter is very annoying and Ian is back to what makes him most annoying and irritating.

Ian is fiercely annoying as of late, Bobby has made several attempts to reach out and Ian is so wrapped up in himself he doesn't even notice.

At least Kathy, is trying her best.

I really enjoyed some of the interactions tonight - I'm glad the show remembered Sharon and Ian's friendship as it feels like they haven't chatted in ages, plus I always like to see Sharon and Kat share a scene.

Lovely to see Pam again. They really should bring her back full time. I wouldn't even mind Les returning too as they did have a very believable relationship, for all of the actor's limitations.

Pam is such a warm character, she belongs on the show.

She has such an earthly vibe.

Just bring Les and Pam back permanently already. They should never have been axed. Pam slotted in as if she’d never been gone.

Lovely interaction for Ian and Sharon and I love it when Sonia mentions Jamie.

I do wonder what Pam’s reaction will be to Ben and Callum. I fully expect the whole “it’s fine, Paul would’ve wanted you to move on” vibe because that’s the sort of character she is I guess and maybe her acting out of turn would seem wrong and unrecoverable for her.

I feel like Pam guessed last night but just didn’t say anything. I agree she’d have been happy for him though.
