Posted June 23, 20196 yr The third single from No. 6 Collaborations Project is out on Friday and is Beautiful People featuring Khalid. Ed's posted a preview on his Insta story recently, and I thought it sounded alright. And I have surprisingly enjoyed I Don't Care and Cross Me. View this post on Instagram
June 23, 20196 yr His strategy isn't very clever for getting attention for the album. IDC is a huge hit but CM went under the radar despite being pretty ok as a song and now this is another song that is most likely going to be overshadowed by IDC. I bet there will be "fourth single" during the release week already. Edited June 23, 20196 yr by SKOB

June 23, 20196 yr I should have continued that post that I think the album might have done even better with just one song out beforehand. Interesting to see how this turns out in terms of the album sales/consumption. Edited June 23, 20196 yr by SKOB
June 23, 20196 yr The album is going to be massive regardless - how many big artists have major multiple #1 singles from an album these days? Not many. 'I Don't Care' is much stronger than 'Cross Me' and has a much bigger feature. It will be interesting to see which track is the 'cherry picked' one, my guess is it will be the Eminem and 50 Cent collab - possibly Bruno Mars as well.
June 23, 20196 yr Author Yeah I think the next one they push will be South of the Border (feat. Camila & Cardi B) or Blow (with Bruno Mars & Chris Stapleton).
June 23, 20196 yr Author The preview reminds me of Try Me by Plastic Toy & DJ Snake Which definitely isn't a bad thing.
June 23, 20196 yr Not keen on I Don't Care, but really loving Cross Me at the moment. Have to see where this one falls
June 27, 20196 yr Author Actually really like this! 3 out of 3 for me so far on this album, which I'm really surprised by. I reckon this song will be absolutely massive, potentially #1.
June 28, 20196 yr The bendy sound in the instrumental is very chilled style ATB. Maybe this is why they were playing 9PM (Till I Come) in the studio in one of Ed’s recent Instagram videos, he’s found the pitch bender! It’s a pretty good song on first listen, better than I Don’t Care, not as good as Cross Me.
June 28, 20196 yr I don't find it particularly catchy, heard it 3 times and still don't know how it goes hear new Ellie once and was already singing along Hate me hate me
June 28, 20196 yr I was expecting this to be dull as but it's not bad! Naturally it'll be one of his lesser performing singles.
June 28, 20196 yr It's not terrible but again it's really really bland, I like the production and instrumental too but the song is forgettable as a whole :(
June 28, 20196 yr I don't find it particularly catchy, heard it 3 times and still don't know how it goes hear new Ellie once and was already singing along Hate me hate me Having listened to both songs, I can't believe I'm saying an Ed Sheeran and Khalid track is better than an Ellie track... and it pains me to say it, but in this particular instance it is. I think that's probably more of an indictment of just how low Ellie has sunk here though.
