January 28, 20232 yr That Radio X playlist is laughably tiny. It would drive me mad listening to that on a regular basis and it's not like there are many deep cuts when it comes to old stuff either. January 28, 20232 yr Radio X mostly play oldies so it's not like they're looping those few songs all day. Although it's not a whole lot better the format they have as their oldies playlist basically doesn't ever change.
January 28, 20232 yr I have heard it a few times against my will recently and wondered how on earth people don't tire of hearing the same old Oasis, Killers and Stone Roses songs day in, day out.
January 28, 20232 yr I think that's true of most radio stations though, their 'oldies' catalogue consists of a pretty small pool of songs when there are literally thousands of other hits they could play. I can't tell you how much it annoys me.
