Its rumoured to be coming out in about a month, probably to coincide with a VMAs performance.

Looking hot! *.* Surely coming for another summery big pop song in the vein of 'Never Really Over'? Happy to hear it's coming relatively soon. I know the performance of 'Never Really Over' is frustrating at the moment but I feel like it's potentially been a great springboard for the second single to be a bigger hit.

I'm quite happy with how NRO is done, I'm very very frustrated it didn't manage the top 10 as it's managed a very stable stay in the top 15 since release. Week 1 she was kept out by minimal Spotify support hindering her. Taylor and Little Mix kept her out in week 3 despite both being lower than her in the chart already. This week it's selling the most it's sold on any week but is down to #14 in the mids because of the glastonbury effect. It's been very unlucky.

 

I feel like NRO's stability has put her in the good books of radios and streaming alike though, so hopefully you're right about the second single being even bigger.

It's been very unlucky indeed! I do agree with you that it can still be considered a success and I think it'll continue to perform consistently. Katy had a huge mountain to climb in terms of getting back support so this has been a triumph in that regard and, as I say, it'll put her in an even better position for single #2.

Oh my!, Katy. The music video could be interesting. Hoping for a California Gurls-esque song for the second single.

I agree with the comments in that Never Really Overs performance will help this to be another hit.

also agree on how frustrating the chart position for NRO has been, Spotify and particularly HH has really stopped the song from being a massive top 5... if only kit had had 1/10th of the support there that people like Ed or Taylor get... in the US, the problem seems to be radio, she's not getting the airplay she used to have...

Unsure about the title too, but I try to hold judgement until I hear the song... I've been wrong so many times by judging a song by its title before I've heard it :lol:
