I reckon the LM song will be LSL

Probably more likely to be whatever the next single from Between Us will be, I can't imagine LSL would have been redacted.

Well the biggest shock is to see Bad Habits in the mix, that was never expected to happen, so that’s a great addition.

Looking at the potentials I had listed, these are some of the songs that missed the cut;

ABBA – Don’t Shut Me Down

Billie Eilish – NDA

Camila Cabello – Don’t Go Yet

Dave feat. Stormzy – Clash

Doja Cat – Woman

Doja Cat & The Weeknd – You Right

Drake feat. Lil Baby – Girls Want Girls

Ed Sheeran – Shivers

Ella Henderson, House Gospel Choir & Just Kiddin – Risk It All

Ewan McGiver – Tell Me Something Good

JLS – Eternal Love

Kanye West – Hurricane

KSI feat. Lil Wayne – Lose

Lil Nas X feat. Jack Harlow – INDUSTRY BABY

Lorde – Solar Power

Maroon 5 feat. Megan Thee Stallion – Beautiful Mistakes

MENTIS & Kate Wild – Excuses

Mimi Webb – 24/5

Normani feat. Cardi B – Wild Side

PinkPanthress – Just for me

PS1 feat. Alex Hosking – Life Goes On

RAYE – Call On Me

Shouse – Love Tonight [David Guetta Remix]

Sleepy Hallow – 2055

WILLOW feat. Travis Barker – t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l

Years & Years – Crave

Decent track list but only problem is that there’s too many R2 artists on there

Yup with some pretty big R1/General Pop songs missing out for them to be fitted in.

Ewan McVicar will probably be on the next one, it only just hit top 40 - despite seeming to have been around forever.

This is Sting’s third ever appearance since Englishman In New York on NOW 18 in 1990 and This Cowboy Song on NOW 30 in 1995

This has been addressed before. They're catering to a wider audience, but also those that grew up with the albums to keep them interested

I do wish with Måneskin that they skipped Beggin' and went straight to MAMMAMIA

Can anyone tell me what the reason was for foam inserts for the old “fatbox” CD cases? Over the years of purchasing second-hand volumes, I’ve ignorantly discarded these inserts as unwanted rubbish, but it seems to be important to some people to have them when selling original volumes. Today, I received an original version of Now 10 that I chose to buy on eBay instead of getting the future reissued volume, it didn’t come with the foam inserts but rather some cut-out bubble wrap instead!

It doesn’t bother me but why would someone care if these types of releases came with foam inserts or not?

I think the foam inserts were more to stop the CDs moving around in the box and getting scratched

Sting and Rod Stewart are not relevant in this day and age

Pardon? Rod still sells albums and indeed had the Christmas No.1 a few years ago with the RPO.

Hadji, or anyone else who has time, can you come up with a list of songs that are missing from the reissued first 10 volumes of the Now series since these started a couple of years ago now. I just want to collate a list of the missing songs due to licensing etc and add them manually to the playlists I make.

Thank you.

What re-release? The only Xmas edition Gary Glitter appeared on was NOW The Christmas Album from 1985

That’s the one I have on cassette from 1985 and then I purchased the vinyl two christmases ago and Chris Rea was on instead of Gary Glitter for the obvious reasons. Maybe it wasn’t a rerelease just a new version.
