New photoshoot and interview with Niall is in the swish fashion magazine Glass which is out today:

His bio has changed to what I can only assume is lyrics from the song so not long to wait now. He did a listening party for press last week and also played another song off the album called 'Put A Little Love On Me' which is apparently a big old ballad written with Greg Kurstin.

Also it's his birthday today - happy birthday Nialler - and he's done this which I think is really lovely:

I am hopeful his second era can be successful.

I would greatly welcome some strong promotional activities to increase awareness and get the album selling.

at least a #1 album debut here in the UK and another top 10 hit like slow hands is what i need

he just needs to promote here more

I am not confident of a Number 1 album when his debut didn't make its way to Number 1.

Top 5 would be welcoming with a steady chart run.

From the OCC:

Soundwise, Nice To Meet Ya has a breezy '90s rock-pop sound not too dissimilar to Sam Fender's debut album - though with added flourishes of psychedelia, especially in the hypnotic middle 8 during which he repeats "Ya know what I need now".

It's different from anything on Flicker, but after a round of gentle folk-pop, Niall's voice sounds more confident, self-assured and bluesier. Niall sounds ready to go. Nice To Meet Ya is out on October 4.

(I can't wait for this based on that description!)
