It seems the wait for Rita's third album will be much shorter than the wait for the second!

Fashion magazine WWD have reported - "The bubbly artist has had a busy year. She recently wrapped her third album, due out some time next year. “It’s pop music, but it’s just a very big surprise, a big shock of material. I’ve experimented a lot so I’m excited to hear what people think,” she said.

Looking forward to seeing what she means by those comments!

Very hyped!! So glad she’s not taking long off before release some new music!
Yayyyyy! Very excited and I'm so happy we won't have too much longer to wait! :D

I’m not gonna get too excited as I remember we didn’t have long to wait for album 2 back in 2014

But that’s good news I guess that means we’re not gonna get a Phoenix re release and I imagine we’ll get the third album at some point before summer. I can’t see it being a Q4 release again.

Excited to hear the direction she’s went in for this era though

If the album comes in 2020 it would be good as Rita certainly does not need another huge gap between Phoenix and another album.

An album next year would be good.

Do you think this album will go ahead and meet its 2020 release?
Lol. No.

I think 3020 is more likely tbh.

Rita Ora talks "crazy, amazing, exciting" third album: "I want to turn people on their heads"

Rita has opened up about plans for her next album in a new interview.

Rita Ora has shared details about her upcoming third studio album.

Speaking to Music Week, Rita - currently Number 1 on the UK's Official Singles Chart as part of the Live Lounge Allstars - promised a "crazy, amazing, exciting direction" for her next album.

"I want to turn people on their heads, turn things around 360 and introduce some live instrumentation, experiment sonically, work with people I've never worked with before and do some more soulful tracks," she explained.

"Trying to meet expectations never goes to plan ... so I've been focusing on my own path, which is making amazing pop music, experimenting and making a new sound, being sonically proud."

Fans will have to wait a bit longer for the collection than they might have expected, however. Rita's manager Sarah Stennett said that due to the coronavirus pandemic, "it's very doubtful the album will come out this year."

She better scrap all 2019 songs that she recorded. They all sounds bland.

I was listening to Phoenix yesterday and it’s a very good album. However, the last song was quite weak in comparison to anything she has done recently so I hope the new material is much better.
