Yes it's the era in general and not specifically the song! A lot of the album has this dreamy, ambient and ~underwater~ feeling to it in a similar fashion. A lot less chaotic than the title track. I've just been relistening to the album actually and blacksquare's example of 'Swim' is an excellent comparison. Lemme buy the vinyl and educate you on this masterpiece x Btw I think this is now my favourite ROSALÍA song overall :wub:

ROSALÍA was interviewed by Variety. She said that the Billie Eilish collab is 'almost done' and she teased a track with Travis Scott, which was supposed to be out last month instead of "Dolerme". If this is considered, it seems that the track CANADA were talking about was the one with Travis instead of the one with Billie.

Regarding the Billie Eilish collaboration, she said the following:

"During these two last weeks I have been trying to finish the Billie Eilish collab. I think it's getting quite closer. I think that the arrangements, I think that yesterday I finished the arrangements. I feel like the production, the sound design, is almost done, so I just need that Billie maybe sends the vocals and they send me the ideas that they want to add because we are there."

In regards of the Travis Scott collaboration, she added this:

"I was supposed to release a song with him [Travis Scott] last month that is for the clubs — super aggressive — that I've been working on for a really long time. [but] it has, I don't know, an energy, that is so specific for a certain moment, that I didn't feel like it was right to release, and I didn't feel like it was connected with what was going on in the world in that moment."

I kinda thought the video was not with Billie Eilish, I listened again to the interview (Catalan is my mother tongue) and they don't say anything about Billie

ROSALÍA teased the track with Travis Scott on Instagram stories and it's called "TKN". The title was revealed if this snippet is shazamed.

I'm working on some new songs right now. I'm very excited that "Como Ali" is being released, around the same time the M.A.C campaign is being released. It's a song I have been performing during my career so I'm really excited that I will be sharing it properly. Anyone who has seen my shows knows that song. I think it's a special one.

She's also apparently featured on the upcoming remix of Sech's 'Relación' (current global Spotify top 40 reggaetón hit) with J Balvin, Farruko and Daddy Yankee. Not expecting anything particularly amazing from that but might as well mention it and it's not like it warrants having its own thread ~

while searching for Como Ali, I found this other unreleased from the same gig which also could be amazing to have a studio version

it's called De Madrugá, and it has more Spanish influences.

 

Como Ali is out 24th September.

I hope the studio version improves it, the live version sounds a bit like TKN which is not a good thing. De Madrugá sounds great though.

It's been hinted that Motomami is the name of her upcoming third album if it's considered the last picture of the tweet below. The lead single is set to be released sometime this month too.

but she's been quiet for a while, hasn't she? cannot recall any Rosalia single of late... did you release any lead single since TKN?

She's had 3 releases this year (collabs with Billie Eilish, Oneohtrix Point Never and Tokischa). Plus the music video/single push for her Bad Bunny collab and technically she had an uncredited feature on Baby Keem's album too (although she does say all of four words on it so probably a bit of a stretch to count that). Admittedly quieter than 2019/20 but it's still not like she's entirely disappeared!

Loved both the Billie and Oneohtrix Point Never collabs but couldn't massively get into the Tokischa one, although I'm thankful for it providing this ROSALÍA x Måneskin crossover moment :kink:
