I think the US is a waste of time, honestly. They should focus where they already have found some success and have a bigger established fanbase (Europe, Aus/NZ, Latin America) through visits, playlisting etc. I remember Reggaetón Lento was a smash in the Netherlands simply by being made track of the week in one of the biggest radio stations there.

Honestly, though, if they’re not bothered either, it’s fine, but I see the US as a waste of time considering the amount of effort it takes and how far into their careers they are, they could use that time to explore numerous other countries and secure different touring stops. The US isn’t even that open to pop right now.

Up to 26 on AM.

I agree i would prefer them to aim for Asia, i mean they have fanbase in Japan and oops has sold 2M copies in china. Also i would love them to aim for Latin America and make a huge collaboration with J Balvin or someone huge there. Latin America is the only place that can really make streams equal to kpop

I think this friday we will have a second decrease on streams. Spotify streams are pretty low this week, I hope they release the fan quarantine video of Break Up Song to help them avoid ACR and stay at SCR

20 in todays update  It actually could stay top 20 by Friday!
Still 20 in todays update! Amazing. Fingers crossed they stay there for tomorrow
Dropping on Itunes now isn’t it? 25.

It’s definitely struggling everywhere now but it’s done so well.

Weather looks rubbish next week too so I doubt it will

Manage to increase in streams either.

I remembered it was removed from the Radio 1 playlist this week so that might explain the sudden lost of strength on Itunes after weeks.
It's still getting very heavy rotation on R1. It's been a big hit though it's just on its natural decline. It'll get looooads of causal streams when the album is out.

It was. I doubt even a performance will propel it back up now, however, this has done amazingly and the fact it's steadily dropping as opposed to free falling is a good sign. Another couple of weeks top 40 I imagine (it just depends how badly ACR will affect it). I can see gold (or at least close enough) by the end of the year! :D
ACR doesn’t affect the actual sales though, does it? Just the chart position. I might be wrong but I think it’ll easily get certified Gold before the end of the year.

Yeah no it doesn't. Gold will be easy by the end of the year, especially with the album release which will give it a big boost in consistency.

Could it go Platinum in the long run? I think if the album is successful and has a successful single run the past singles might benefit.

Yeah, if it's placed after the next hit on the album track listing, it'll draw fans/GP in who buy the album but didn't necessarily pay attention to Break Up Song at first. Even if it's not, I think it has the mileage to go Platinum in the long run, I think it'll be Gold for a long time first though.

Sad that Apple and Spotify have pushed it even lower on playlists but at least its back up to 3 on A List pop on AM.
They’ve uploaded a fan edition of BUS in their YouTube channel.

I’m so pleased they’ve done something!

Guess they were waiting until a potential 3rd week of decline to try and help boost streams.

Hopefully it works...

Oddly it’s up from 28 to 25 on Amazon music today.
