Did both Break Up Song and Boyfriend get their vertical videos removed this week? Could that explain the drop?

It’ll be interesting to see how they do on Youtube with the video. Will it hold up like they are on itunes and apple music or will it free fall?

Ok but they need to discount tonight.
Nice to see it’s likely to be in the top 20 another week. If they discount it and release the video, that should give them another week in the top 20. Hopefully 2.

Yeah. It's fine. There are still 6 or 7 tracks which are only high due to being charity, new releases/a random demo (so likely to fall away soon) or random Tik Tok bursts (Happy Birthday - wtf??)

The one thats surprising me is Rolling Stones!

Edit: saying that tho, its done what it can with no promo or video whilst being 99p... hopefully their label will see it and reduce it to 59p tonight

I’m worried for next week...

I hope they manage another top 20.

I'll be ok with anywhere in the top 21 - 26 next week, and I think that could be do-able. If they discount and release the video, another week top 20 isn't out of the question.
Kinda disappointed we were potentially eyeing up a return to the Top 15/10 for next week and now we'll be lucky if it stays Top 20

Yeah the fact it's had one of its worst weeks on Spotify being the highest it's been on hot hits is...not expected.

Still #42 on Spotify.

Hopefully the glut of songs going to ACR next week will keep it stable at least in chart.

What is actually going on with Spotify, the top 50 is a really odd mix.
This isnt top 20 in todays update.. Hope it manages to scrape another week this week..

Streams are down in general. People just aren't listening to music whilst the weather is as poor as it is and obviously the commutes to and from work are minimal right now. I think Spotify are just impacted the most because I get the feeling kids have iPads and whilst people are cleaning the house etc... they're more inclined to listen to Alexa etc.. Spotify streams atm is just a very bizarre situation. It's not been aligned with the official charts as much as it usually is (I'm assuming due to lockdown) for a few weeks now. It's bizarre!

But anyway, as it stands today, the bolded songs below are set to go to ACR next week..

All of the bolded songs above are now declining in streams week-on-week, and Joel Corry only has a minimal increase as things stand.

DCL-2 | Song has declined for two consecutive weeks.

Anne-Marie - Birthday

Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now*

Dua Lipa - Physical*

Joel Corry - Lonely*

Jonas Brothers - What a Man Gotta Do

Justin Bieber feat. Quavo - Intentions*

Lady Gaga - Stupid Love

Mabel - Boyfriend*

Niall Horan - No Judgement

Roddy Ricch feat. Mustard - High Fashion

SAINt JHN - Roses*

Surfaces - Sunday Best

The Pussycat Dolls - React

The Weeknd - Blinding Lights*

Tory Lanez feat. Chris Brown - The Take

7 of these are above Little Mix in this weeks chart, but 1 of them (Joel) is looking to have a minimal increase so will avoid ACR for 3 more weeks.

Ignore the above

Drake is releasing his album/mixtape apparently :') - 13 tracks (officially it shouldn't hinder them too much, but he'll still probably have 3 tracks in the top 10/15 - but exposure on streaming services will be hard to maintain as I assume at least a good chunk of them will be quite high)

Megan/Beyonce are likely to do big things with 'Savage'

Doja Cat/Nicki remix will help Doja out more/potential to explode (the least likely of the 3)

EVERY TIME THERE'S SOMETHING.

Release week, there's usually a musicians death. Surprise album/track drops at the prime moment we expect them to claw back.

I-
