No politician can stop Christmas. We are all in lockdown, almost every single country in the EU at least and do this stop our personal 'Christmas' (and I do not refer to religion). For me it is looking forward to some quiet days also of contemplation. I am with my heart with my loved ones and friends and we all know that this will pass, just like former generations faced wars and hunger and it passed. Boris or Mark or Angela or however can't stop Christmas in us if we do not allow it. And I mean at the end what creates this situation is a virus we still don't know, so hey ho, let's be happy to be alive instead of complain. It is like it is and what we make out of it imho

I wonder why Robbie did not sing CSC last night, ( maybe the Beeb were not quite comfortable with the lyrics given the current situation ) was the performance actually live on Strictly, either way lovely to see him perform , the BBC did a great job with SCD this year, cannot have been an easy task given the circumstances.

That jacket was way to big for Robbie, I wonder if he borrowed it from Craig RH

I honestly think it was because the lockdown had been announced within two hours of the programme starting.

He did great with it though. Even Mr Stanley said so. :o

I guess he performed it in the afternoon and they showed it as live.

The final got 13M views last night. SCD has been amazing this year for raising morale. Hope it scoops lots of awards.

Also thought Claudia looked gorgeous. She's such an attractive woman.

(Robbie Williams remains one of the greatest entertainers in the music business and his voice feels at home in the various genres)

That is one of his strengths isn't it - he can do so many different styles of music.

Sorry for so many posts

20 and 23 on ITunes

I am always surprised about the twitter reactions after he appears. Interesting that a 46 year old popstar and da can still polarize that much

I love that version, it's cool :)

I'm loving these performances that he's giving.

His performance of Home was so beautiful.

I've watched the Can't Stop Christmas video about ten times today while I was*aherm* working - it's one of my favourite RW videos of all time. It's a shame it will be hopelessly outdated next Christmas. Great song though.

All recent performances are so cool!

How about this?!

Not only Leo there but Michael Loney (his manager) is there! At first time together on live.

I just look thru the booklet's credits and found his name for Fairytales too. He played on tin whistle in a studio version as well.
