And you really think a government who are knowingly and deliberately bleeding our public services dry are gonna do that, do you?

So delusional.

Well what else are they going to do with 700 billion+? They're only cutting back on public services because we're short of money.

The DUP's Nigel Dodd tweeted this today. They're getting tougher with the Government.

" I give clear notice that going forward the Democratic Unionist Party will look at every proposal, every legislative provision, and every amendment through one prism and one prism only. How does this best protect the Union?"

I hope Boris gets a decent working majority so he doesn't need them anymore.

Most of it will be the extra costs that come with hard borders (checks of people, transports etc) as well as replaving the money the EU gives to projects in the UK as well.

As well as the poind that could fall, which means imported goods will be even more expensive with tarrifs as well. The government is gonna have to buffer that somehow

They'll also need the money to attract working people to replace the people you are kicking out with Brexir

Funny Tweet.

I see the People's March figures will be released tomorrow.

Sky say 500,000

The BBC says 300,000

The police say 100,000

We're waiting for the final total from Dianne Abbott. :D

Labour may lodge an amendment to Boris's election bill to allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote.

That alone could help boost Labours numbers in the polls and when the Election results come in.

They could be key to Labour being the largest party, but would that amendment even pass anyway? Maybe not unless Corbyn threatens he will not agree to an election unless they back his amendment, so a type of catch 22 situation and would put Corbyn in a strong position. It means he pulls the strings and if the Tories say no then Labour can then blame them for stopping an election. So it puts the blame back onto the Tories. Labour needs to give all the blame back to the Tories. play them at their own games..............

But the Tories can just call his bluff, and say 'we'll wait then'. If Corbyn is refusing to support a GE because of Brexit (yeah, right  ), then he's hardly going to call a No Confidence vote which would also force one!

[Let it not be said that I never read leftist newspapers - I dare say I read them more often than others here read the Daily Mail] ;)

Brexit referendum should never have been called, say majority of voters

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/o...ead-over-labour

Also from the article : If there were to be another referendum, the poll suggests the result would be on a knife edge, with 43% of all voters saying they would back remaining in the EU, against 42% who would vote to leave.

An interesting poll actually, if I read those numbers correctly it would indicate less commitment from Leave voters, while you could guess that some Remain voters would want it to have not been called because they lose their EU membership in addition to the majority who are fatigued of it, Leave voters saying these things indicates disillusionment, and disunity.

And then it's also the poll that gives the Tories a 16-point lead because of course. But yeah, discourse is now in the wheelhouse of 'how do we end this'?

Sorry vidcapper fake polls :( All data and demogtaphics poibt to massive leave defeats. Mwaaa x

We're only getting disillusioned because of the time it's taking to get us out though!

But it was posted in your beloved Guardian, so how can it be 'fake'...

Guardian is neoliberal. All polls except a couple outliers show the reality and confirm the demographic facts. Sorry. Mwaa.

Most if not all polls now show a big Tory lead. :)

The Guardian now reporting that France has backed down and there will be a three month extension agreed, which could be shortened if a deal is ratified. This may be announced tomorrow and then Labour would support an election.

The draft says the UK can leave on Dec 1st, Jan 1st or Feb 1st depending on if and when the deal is ratified.

If you mean the march that took place on October 19th - I can tell you - it was over a million! I know because I was there and we were talking to police officers and security stewards and they'd estimate it was at least a million! I don't care what the right-wing media (and that includes the BBC) say - I'd take it from the officials I spoke to!

You really ought to get out more Chris - you may learn a thing or two.

Pfft he'll just sit at home watching BBTory. Anything that challenges his bigoted right wing world view and he flees.

As we all correctly predicted. Macron has been whipped into line
