“Me moving in from the pop world to do art… I put a lot into whimsy,” Williams said. “It’s what I’m about, what I wanna be, and I know the art world is a very serious world. But that’s not me, and that is not what we are. If you don’t look at it and think of the 80s cartoons, or how it would feel to walk straight into a cartoon, you kind of miss the point.”

 

 

Making art is like “having superpower,” he said. “But I just don’t want them to be these paintings on the wall, and the next day, it’s going to be over, that’s it. I want to build a hotel. I want to do the interiors. I want to put a restaurant and art in the hotel.”

    It's amazing how similarly humble and down to earth Rob and Thom are. Wishing him and the band the best for 2026. Hopefully they get to us at least one of the songs made with Rob 🙌🏻

I'm loving reading all these positive reports about the art.

 

They really seem to have captured something there.

 

Unfortunately I'm not going to get to view it Tess - I did plan to but I haven't got time at the moment . Life is a big rush at the present time so I'm staying away - but I like what I see, I'm enjoying his enthusiasm and I'm enjoying the reaction to it.

 

Also interesting -that he got his rave after the opening night -just like he said he would.

Love the flares on Rob, a real nod to the 70's . Rob has the body for them these days, he looks amazing .

 

Shame you cannot make it to the exhibition Laura , they need to be seen up close & personal .

 

It got pretty positive reviews so far & the keyboad warriors are for too busy with Wagatha Christie at the minute to have time for slagging off Rob :lol:

The rear view is really funny. So you get two paintings for your money. No wonder the one at Sotheby's made it at twice the price as expected :D .

Feel a bit emotional today……its the last day of our show. @robbiewilliams and I couldn't have asked for more…..everyone has been so incredibly kind and generous with their words about our first show and it has gone better than we could have even dreamed of. Thank you @sothebys for believing in us….we are excited for round 2…. -_-
