It will be an exciting chart watch for it this year.

Yes for this and to see how Wham do too. Maybe both top 3? Even 1 and 2?

They will only continually be no1 on streams in the week after the Xmas chart, that'll be the interesting week. Looking forward to seeing it back in the chart tomorrow, wonder if they'll skip it this week as it's still November??

For fans of both, it would be great if both could hit the top spot this year for a week each.

It would be so great for both on their respective anniversaries.

That said, i am more for Mariah going all the way, as i am a big fan of it.

Ended up at #34 in this week's UK chart, the same position it was at this time last year! mariah.png

29th November 2019:

14,360 sales - with ACR rules applied

27,565 sales - without ACR, which goes towards the song's sales total.

It sold 1,155 downloads. Therefore 13,205 sales from all audio/video streaming goes towards this week's chart // 26,410‬ sales goes to the song's total.

Great to see! It hasn't been in the UK iTunes Top 10 for years, because prior to this year the downloads were split between the version from her album, and a version from a Christmas compilation. Now that that compilation has been withdrawn from sale, that's helping the song go higher!

Also #4 on Spotify! Presumably it'll be #1 in tomorrow's Spotify chart.

I'd really like to see another Mariah song chart for the first time. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is off to a great start this year, already #99 on Spotify!

I assume it's higher on playlists this year?

There's so many other versions of Christmas(Baby Please Come Home). My own favourite is by U2 and a lot of people love the Buble and Darlene Love versions.

Number 17 in the midweek information released today.

Top 15 will definitely happen now and possibly close to Top 10.

I like Darlene's version from Phil Spector's Christmas album which I must dig out tomorrow and start playing now it's December.

Annoyed to see that it's only at 17 was 7 this time last year

Last year's Monday mids were on 3rd December though, which meant that the 1st December streams were fully accounted for! Today's mids don't include yesterday's explosion of Christmas songs on streaming, just 29th/30th Nov streams. I'm sure tomorrow's mids will see a much better midweek for Mariah.

Mariah's performance at the Tokyo Dome, back in 1996... in 1080p HD :o

Here's another performance from 1994, St. John The Divine:

Great to see these retro performances in great quality!

Midweek #8, and only a few hundred sales behind mid #5 :cheer:

It'll be between 4-9 until Xmas week when it'll jump up to no1!
