  • "All I Want For Christmas Is You" remains at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a 20th week! It becomes the sole longest-running #1 song on the chart!

  • Midweek predictions have AIWFCIY doing a 22nd week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100!

  • I am also very happy it managed to go #1 in the UK. I wish it could become a 2-way battle and Mariah and Whan balance their #1 stays out a bit. But oh well. It is what it is.

Does anyone on here have the original 1994 vinyl/cd/cassette?

Me too. Wonder if it still plays well.

Have both her Christmas CD albums too.

Class!

I assume there wasn't a vinyl release?

Yep, very limited both here and in US but no CD.

The vinyl release would be class to have - Jospeh said above he had one of the original cds?!

Plenty of the original CD's around for sale on Ebay, Discogs, Music Magpie etc.

Maybe on Friday weeks chart, very unlikely this Friday unfort.
Assume it did have a cd release then!

There's no assume :P Joseph literally said he has a copy of the 1994 CD single. They were the dominant format then so why wouldn't it have had a CD release? lmao

omg yes!!

Mariah’s 19th number one I believe, insane how huge she was in the US yet this was never able to reach number one originally.

I have one of the original UK CDs! This one, from a charity shop :heehee:

I bought the cd single back in 1994 - there was more than one version if I remember correctly, I had the picture disc one.

<3 there’s something very right about seeing Mariah at #1 in the US again.

And just in time to ensure she’s achieved number one hits in three consecutive decades.
