The day you make your Christmas pudding!

It seems a lot of trees may have gone up yesterday, with the filthy weather I bet a lot of people stopped at home and put the decs up and of course listened to Christmas songs.

That's true although I hate people on our street that put it up before 1st December. Same people who take it down on St.Stevens Day!

Didn't know that puddings are made that day, my granny makes hers in September 😮

Kelly is doing amazingly well!

New peak this year? :o

Yeah I would definitely say so, she has great positions in the two main playlists.

Is Underneath The Tree's peak still it's release year?

peaked at #30 on original release in 2013... last couple years it has come close to the original peak

Wow at Lewis, but it won't be enough for this week, but maybe the week after.

I think it's cos yesterday it was finally added to Today's Top Hits + also moved up a bit on HH

but he's still behind on Apple and iTunes

+ DM has still this crazy amount of YT views, Lewis should release the video asap

So that 'one month until Christmas' boost for the Christmas songs didn't happen :P I expect they'll spike substantially at the weekend though (especially as Sunday is the first day of December).

Yay for Lewis being back at #1 again, hope he will actually stay there this time (although he does definitely need a bigger lead, or to catch up more on other platforms, to be able to knock Tones off #1 next week).

Also good that 'Orphans' is hanging around and actually climbing since the album release despite the rest of the album making very minimal impact, hope it'll be able to re-enter close to its original peak this week. It looks like the Apple Music chart on Kworb is frozen at the moment but it was still at #26 there as of the last time it updated.

this is finally top 50

48 Falling by Trevor Daniel

'Finally'? It's only its 7th day in the top 200, that's a pretty quick climb for an unknown artist (only slightly slower than 'ROXANNE') :P rising even faster in the US of course where it's already at #6.

Lewis back to #1 and with quite a lead

Doesnt music in general do beeter on sunday due to being the weekend ???

The re-entry for 'BOP' is a new peak as well. DaBaby remains overdue having an actual hit in the UK (only one top 100 hit which spent a single week at #97) despite how dominant he's been in the US this year, maybe this could be the one ~

Looks like I was wrong about Mariah heading in the top 10 from the November 25th effect (which I guess now isn't really a thing and last year just happened to be a good Sunday effect).

I expect we'll see the first huge Christmas impact on December 1st then, as there will be a combined Sunday effect and December 1st effect.

oh right, I assumed it would've charted higher from the album drop, although he isn't much of a name here.

why's it suddenly back now then? music video was released over a week ago.

Wish it was vibez that was getting the attention, it’s a bop

It's not a great start really, though it's somewhat a grey area too because it's a Christmas song. It's got no radio or playlist support as things stand, and there's no Christmas songs in recent years from big name artists to compare it to (Leona and Kelly were a while ago now, and Santa Tell Me only really caught on several years down the line when Ariana's name power grew). I suppose there's Sia, though Little Mix have a stronger track record than she does.

I think what will be important is how it manages to climb. I'm not expecting a big top 10 out of it, but a cute top 30 will be good enough to hopefully secure it the opportunity to return in future years. However, that depends on getting Christmas playlist support this year...!

It won't. Song is awful and they're finished. Top 40 peak this week, probably entering around 42 and then falling to 48 and down.

I know there's been a lot of songs repeaking in recent years such as Michael Buble and Chris Rea and our own leona. Just wasn't sure if Kelly did.
