November 9, 20195 yr Definitely the correct choice, it’s by far her most cohesive and consistently great, imaginative and personal body of work.
November 10, 20195 yr Author My personal favourite is Confessions, but this is technically probably her best work. It's incredibly well produced, says so much about her life and is just a sublime, unique listen. A very worthy winner and one of the greatest albums of all time ~

Funnily enough my long-time best friends (who also love Madonna), also cite Erotica as their favourite too. For me, it's the searingly honest lyrics (her best imo), and the shear quality and diversity of the songs. It's a very empowering album, full of pain, yearning, defiance and strength. I love it, and I love that it's an underrated, hugely influential classic. 'Waiting' is one of my favourite M songs ever. I know it's one of M's perosnal favourites of her own album's (as is I'm Breathless funnily enough).
