They're one of the biggest artists around right now, whether you like them or not, and PERFECT for Radio 1's demographic. It's obvious why they are always playlisted???

Mentioning payola is pointless too because most artist that get national radio support have big record labels behind them which is why they get the support in the first place radio play wise.

But if an artist doesn't have a major label it wont be A Listed - is that true?

Not as far as I know, I’m pretty sure AJ Tracey is independent and he’s been on the playlist lots now. Georgia isn’t on any major record companies either and she’s been consecutively A Listed 3 times, without her songs doing anything chart wise.

I thought that's why they didn't A List any Gerry Cinnamon tracks.
