Nice jump on Saturday, but not as high streams as she got on the 1st of the month.

Her streaming numbers would need to double to get back on the official chart.

As far as I know it is.

It is her slowest building hit, that is for sure.

It played with making its way to the Top 75 for a long time and repeated the same with going Top 40.

And now, its heading to 400k sales over an 18 year period.

Is the Kylie version of Santa Baby the best selling version of the song?

It is, currently on 339k. Eartha Kitt's original isn't far behind, currently on 289k, and was actually ahead by 1k last week in the charts. Kylie's version is typically the most popular with playlists though and is way ahead on Spotify at the moment.

Kylie has a 50k lead on the original so it will remain the biggest selling version for a year or 2 at the least.

Great that its the best selling version and I hope it stays that way.

I think it will short term.

Beyond that it will fall to which version will pick up the most annual streaming points.

 

I'm really hoping we will see santa baby get somewhere this week.

Up to #113 on the old rules chart, another 10.5k shifted to take its total up to 349k.

 

Eartha Kitt's version is still ahead, at #99. Guessing her version must be performing better on Apple Music because it's behind on Spotify.

Another 10k sales is good, another 25k should be possible by year end.

It's not getting as much love this year as new Xmas songs appear

No it def seemed more popular in the last 2-3 years more than this year. It's not a sing I hugely like myself but want too see kylie in the charts. With santa baby been a double a side with please stay , with sales combined its the 2nd best selling single from light years.

Christmas isnt christmas till u get here is higher in ireland than santa baby, didn't see that coming.

It is welcoming to see a different Kylie song pick up some sales somewhere apart from Santa Baby.
