Surely it won’t be going anywhere near #1 regardless of whatever the day of the week the chart is?
Will Megan's x factor songs be chart eligible now?
Run only has a 50% lead on iTunes so unless it's streaming is good it won't be top 10!

It should get a little further boost from its repeat on ITV shortly

Tbf for a charity sing x factor celebs version of Run isnt as bad as some have been, its unlikely to do well though its streaming will be non existent
It's an incredibly lazy choice of song though. The backing track is identical to Leona Lewis' version. It's not like the song even has any relevant lyrics to do with the charity or anything.

I did get the leona comparison, are there many songs that could be really lyrically accurate for Together for short lives though

Megan isn’t doing that great at all considering all

The hype and the fact she won.

Is there even an official single?

Just listening to the geraldine mcqueen christmas song (youtube recommened it because you listen to leona) its ironic that it goes on about christmas songs being played over and over yet nobody actually listens to it itself

Speak for yourself  This is a Christmas classic as far as I’m concerned.

I like the Geraldine song too, thought it would sell a lot more than it did in 2008.

Mariah top 10 for the first time this year 😀. Is All Alone on Christmas normally as high as this?

There is no official single.

Am I the only one who thought this has worked out exactly as Simon Cowell wanted it to- the X Factor will give Megan (who can clearly sing and has already had hits) a proper record deal and make her a lasting star unlike the last 4 regular X Factor winners

The X Factor Celebrities 2019 coming for the first song to get sales #1 but miss the overall top 40 maybe? It'll have completely negligible streams. At best it'll have a single week in the low top 40 (unless there's a sustained campaign to keep its sales up through the week although even then it'd still almost certainly only be charting for a week just maybe a bit higher).

Not sure why they aren't trying to push 'This' as a 'winner's single' for Megan, it'd work perfectly well as one and seems to have some genuine popularity but instead... they're just plopping out a random cover as her big winning performance and then not even making it a proper 'winner's single'?

Could he not have just given her a record deal if he wanted to?
