Would you buy it? In my opinion she's well overdue a Greatest Hits CD collection though it would have to be a double. :D

I know physicals don't sell like they used to but think she'd sell a few copies especially released late November for the Xmas market.

No. For artists like Rihanna, greatest hits albums are pretty redundant now due to streaming, playlists etc. I understand why some still get released for older artists whose main fanbase would still be buying physical albums, but I don’t think it’d be right for Rihanna at this stage at all. For me it would be a waste of an album from her, I’d far rather any new material.

I'm 59 though and don't stream or download, never have. Own three Rihanna CD's and would love to buy a GH by her.

IMO she's well overdue a GH album. Coldplay too.

Surely it would generate quite a lot of streaming 'sales' as people individually listening to songs by her would all contribute to 'sales' of the Greatest Hits album?

In any case, I think I'd rather a new album than a Greatest Hits at the moment.

I think I to would rather a new album by her because she has been away for like almost 4 years now. A greatest hits is something I would like but not right now.

after all the waiting, people want a new studio album, not a GH

they had plenty of chances to release it in the past

one of the reasons why her albums still sell well is cos she doesn't have a GH... same as Coldplay or Beyonce... if Coldplay were to release a GH new fans would buy that and nothing else, now new fans have to go and buy them all :) for the label its better not to release a GH

She’s well overdue a Greatest Hits album.

And with her catalogue it would rack up so many sales and streams.

But I want R9 first
