I’m sure everyone will be delighted to know that D-Block Europe have just dropped their 3rd album of 2019. I guess ‘No Cellular Site” will probably go top 40 as they’ve released a video for it but I can’t see it hanging around long.

 

There’s also a Travis Scott project release today and a new J Hus song. Spotify haven’t updated New Musid Friday yet though.

The 'Travis Scott project' is a label compilation (with Don Toliver, Sheck Wes and Octavian) so will probably only contain a handful of songs that actually have Travis on them. One of which is apparently a remix of 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM' featuring Lil Baby and ROSALÍA which seems like a very weird combination!

I think everyone is underestimating Little Mix's potential a bit on here atm.

Yes they have fallen into a bit of a lull this past year and a bit but with their new TV show next year and with the right material I think they could have a successful era again.

I think we shouldn't read much into the Little Mix Xmas song flop, just shows how hard it is for new Xmas songs

even more than regular songs cos it's even more dependent on playlists and Xmas playlists are even worst than HH or TTH

as they're very traditional and updated once in a lifetime

 

I think Little Mix have peaked already but sure they can still go for a while and have a few more hits,

they just need to shop for better songs than Bounce Back but really cannot see them having the best album of the year or something like that

I do think Little Mix can pull it back, but they've really got their work cut out at this stage and they need to PROPERLY pull it out of the bag when they next release something. One more wrong move and it could be game over for them.

I'm not sure the TV show will do anything. So many tv singing shows are struggling, it is just a bit of a dated concept right now. The ones that seem to do better these days have a different element to them, like the masked singer in the US.

 

I'm not sure what Little Mix show will bring that popstars, popstars the rivals, x factor the band haven't already done.

They just sold out a huge arena tour and tickets for their stadium tour next year are selling really well too? They’ve managed to maintain success longer than 99% of girl groups and practically every X factor contestant.

Apple Music has Jackboys & Sheck Wes, J Has and D-Block Europe as the top 3 on their version of NMF so I'm assuming Spotify's would've been pretty similar to that
