Can't believe we've gotta wait until New Year's Day for the Miranda 10th anniversary show. As others have said this schedule, 'Gavin & Stacey' and Michael McIntyre/Strictly Christmas aside is diabolical!

Pretty raging that totp on Xmas day is on at the ridiculous time of 11.35, they might as well not bother. 2pm used to be the perfect time.

Looking forWard to Gavin & Stacey, Dracula and A Christmas Carol.

Repeats annoy me but I enjoy rewatching Raidersnof the Lost Ark and Back to the Future at this time of year.

Thought The Greatest Showman would have been the big Xmas day film this year.

Can always rely on Channel 4 to bring out the classic Christmas films - lots on there that I'll be rewatching over Christmas.

Nah too early for terrestrial TV.

Looking forward to Dracula too but that's in New Year.

It and Doctor Who are the big shows for NYD and it's still considered the holiday season.

Haven't watched Dr. Who since the 1970's. :o

Agreed, it's one reason why there's so many repeats at Xmas as people like the traditional things they watch every year but also then complain there's not enough original things on.

Odds on top rated xmas TV programme

4/7 Gavin and Stacey

7/2 Call The Midwife

5/1 Michael McIntyre's Big Christmas Show

12/1 The Queen's Speech (BBC 1)

16/1 Strictly Come Dancing

18/1 Mrs Brown's Boys

50/1 EastEnders

100/1 Coronation Street

100/1 The Great Christmas Bake Off

100/1 Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Yeah I'll be very surprised if it's not Gavin and Stacey!

It's so hard to tell viewing figures these days when people watch stuff on line and record through the planner etc.
It's always worth sticking a cheeky fiver on the Queen's Speech, especially with those odds, but Gavin & Stacey is a great shout. Surprised to see Mrs Brown's Boys is quite far down the odds, it wasn't too long ago that it was the highest rating show on Christmas Day.
