Stormzy - Crown [0 points] 5-{4}-6-9-13-19-26-24-27-60-73->11 Receiving absolutely no points despite getting the necessary numbers to get in is Stormzy's 2nd single of the album he is about to release this Friday. With it being a more reflective song with a choir backing I suppose it does fall into the category of being less offensive to Buzzjack. #42. Drake (feat. Rick Ross) - Money In the Grave [4 points] {13}-15-17-22-29-31-32-29-29-33-36-64-72->13 This seems to happen every year now, a Drake track getting a good few nominations then not many points in the voting. And only one person voted for this. In a quiet year for him this was his only major single release as a lead as a reminder that he still exists, as if we needed one. I expect he'll be back with a new album next year anyhow and hopefully with something stronger than this. #41. Digga D - No Diet [4 points] 27-{20}-27-33-25-32-48-50-53->9 One of the many UK drill hits we've had this year which was a brief top 20 hit but probably too forgotten by most of Buzzjack to actually do worse in this chart. #40. Cadet and Deno Driz - Advice [10 points] 54-49-45-40-37-33-36-37-30-28-46-43-38-70-27-30-32-36-39-44-36-{14}-18-24-67-65-66->27 A big sleeper hit at the end of last year, which eventually went top 20 following the news of Cadet's death. I liked this one a fair bit. #39. NSG (feat. Tion Wayne) - Options [10 points] 25-14-12-11-11-12-9-{7}-10-14-11-10-17-19-23-51-53-57-62-72-70->21 Giving NSG their first top 40 hit and ended up being a big top 10, this was one of my fave rap hits of the year so good to see this not doing too badly here. #38. Hardy Caprio and DigDat - Guten Tag [11 points] {18}-21-20-23-27-24-26-32-35->9 Another UK rap hit here, and one of the more interesting songs either act has made. #37. Liam Payne (feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie) - Stack It Up [11 points] DNC Top 75 This turning out to be a flop was very pleasing as I couldn't even make it through the whole song it was that bad. It deserves to be higher on this list but I can understand it being low when it is barely known. #36. Regard - Ride It [12 points] 69-45-25-15-11-5-{2}-3-2-2-2-3-3-4-25-31-...>16+ Well I'm very pleased this isn't too high, as one of the big dance hits of the year and a great one at that too.

December 10, 20195 yr I charted all of those songs except Liam Payne (which is pretty subpar but not really awful) so glad they're all this low, I agree on 'Options' being one of the best rap hits this year and expected it to be much higher given how long it stuck around!
December 10, 20195 yr Crown is fantastic, and one of my fave UK Top 40 hits of the year. As is Ride It. "Where. The f***. Should I. Really even start!" Money In The Grave is a banger that I kept coming back to. I love the way he says "I was on top when that shit meant a lot!" in the 2nd verse. Advice, Options and Guten Tag are decent. December 11, 20195 yr I just hope Falling Like the Stars and Rewrite The Stars are not top 10. I still can't understand all this James Arthur & Anne-Marie hate on this forum. :drama: On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Ariana Grande will be top 10, maybe top 5. :w00t:

Stormzy - Vossi Bop [12 points] {1}-1-3-4-4-4-4-2-3-14-18-24-23-27-34-39-41-43-46-52-57-54-57-66-68-71-75->27 It's been a great year for Stormzy with this becoming his first #1 of two so far, and potentially three before the end of the year. 'Vossi Bop' is one of the best rap hits of the year for me so I'm glad it hasn't done too badly here. #34. Steel Banglez (feat. AJ Tracey and MoStack) - Fashion Week [12 points] {7}-8-12-16-17-19-23-23-23-28-33-73->12 Wasn't overly keen on this but it's nothing worth hating either, can't hate on a steel drum really. #33. Poundz - Opp Thot [13 points] 45-48-50-37-{33}-37-41-63->8 Another UK drill hit which no one really asked for or needed, I've no idea where this Poundz has come from but I doubt we'll be seeing much of him by this time next year or even before then. #32. Young Thug (feat. J. Cole and Travis Scott) - The London [14 points] {18}-22-21-24-29-32-35-38-43->9 This would be an okay enough track, though still nothing I'd love, if Young Thug didn't sound like a dying cat. #31. Travis Scott - Highest in the Room [16 points] {2}-5-5-12-13-17-24-23-30-...>9+ A very standard track from him, and its #2 peak is already starting to look like a fluke as it will no doubt not be half as big as Sicko Mode in the long term.

Lil Tecca - Ransom [18 points] 75-62-61-50-45-40-23-24-13-{7}-9-7-8-9-11-10-14-40-43-52-65-70-74->23 I really enjoyed this actually, one of the better US rap hits of the year. #29. Cardi B and Bruno Mars - Please Me [19 points] {12}-20-13-16-17-25-32-41-41->9 Well this was absolutely pointless, and I'd have completely forgot its existence again if not for it cropping up on Worst of 2019 lists on YouTube. Both acts can do better. #28. YNW Melly - 223's (feat. 9lokknine) [22 points] 75-{69}-74-73->4 I've not listened to this the whole way through and have no desire to. Melly's vocal is awful and he's one of the worst people to have landed in the chart this year too. #27. Lewis Capaldi - Hold Me While You Wait [23 points] {4}-8-5-7-7-6-4-6-5-4-5-6-6-10-9-26-29-35-39-46-43-41-45-47-56-55-64-68->28 Not offensive as much as it is boring really. His other two entries in this rundown I much prefer, so typically they are still to come here. #26. NSG - OT Bop [24 points] {17}-26-32-30-35-38-39-42-50->9 A big disappointment following on from 'Options' (and for me that remains their one good song), good to see this finish above it despite it not being half as big in the chart.

Anne-Marie) - F**k, I'm Lonely [26 points] 43-46-44-33-{32}-33-34-33-36-35-34-32-41->13 Lauv really is one of the most uninteresting popstars to emerge recently, and teaming up with Anne-Marie was never going to go down well here. #24. James Arthur - Falling Like the Stars [28 points] 34-47-35-{25}-34-38-44-73->8 Another dull James Arthur song that thankfully wasn't too big of a hit. #23. Kanye West - Selah [29 points] {19}-69->2 The first of Kanye's 3 songs here. I don't particularly enjoy this one anyway, it feels unfinished and more album filler which most of his album suffers from (also the case for 'ye' so this seems to be the new normal for him disappointingly). #22. Ed Sheeran (feat. Stormzy) - Take Me Back to London [29 points] 3-x(3)-14-10-11-{1}-1-1-1-1-13-15-14-19-28-33-38-40-44-60->19 The first of Ed's 3 songs, and last of Stormzy's 3. This was actually one of his more interesting songs of recent times but I'm so tired of his over saturation. #21. Krept & Konan and WizKid - G Love [30 points] 59-47-{28}-42-54-72->6 Well this song's completely forgettable even by generic UK rap standards. Khalid) - Beautiful People [32 points] 3-3-{1}-2-2-2-2-2-3-19-24-27-25-28-34-35-39-42-46-54-50-56->22 Another Ed Sheeran track, this one isn't half as bad as the one he's got still to come but I wasn't keen on this either. #19. Lewis Capaldi - Bruises [33 points] 72-x(2)-62-56-59-55-59-63-54-54-53-49-x(5)-16-x(14)-73-x(3)-11-16-9-{6}-10-9-10-6-6-11-...>23+ This is a rather good ballad actually, shouldn't be this high. #18. D-Block Europe (feat. Dave) - Playing For Keeps [33 points] {21}-37-53-61->4 Forgettable D-Block Europe song #1. #17. Chris Brown (feat. Drake) - No Guidance [33 points] 8-{6}-8-12-16-25-26-17-23-22-21-49-49-54-61-62-67-68->18 A very dull song but because it was a Drake collab of course it ended up being a big top 10 hit. I enjoy Drake most of the time but even he can't save this. #16. Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved [35 points] 66-29-13-10-9-3-3-{1}-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-3-4-3-4-3-3-3-3-11-14-10-13-14-19-22-25-23-19-23-21-27-28-24-19-23-18-20-23-25-31-28-26-34-...>48+ Undeniably the biggest hit of 2019, and with overplay being a factor this was always going to chart somewhat highly in this chart. Good to see that it's not top 10 however as it doesn't deserve quite as much hate as it gets online. Just wish it would make an exit from the top 40 for good soon but that probably won't happen until April. December 13, 20195 yr Bruises is my least fave of his, no replayability value whatever. Interestingly I hated Someone You Loved to start with, then it wore me down to the 'this is actually ok' stage but then overplay contributed to it going back down in my estimations.

December 14, 20195 yr Author #15. The 1975 - People [35 points] {54}->1 A shouty mess of a song, they can do much better. #14. Krept & Konan (feat. D-Block Europe and Ling Hussle) - Tell Me [37 points] {23}-37-52-63->4 Forgettable D-Block Europe song #2. #13. James Arthur & Anne-Marie - Rewrite The Stars [37 points] 16-17-8-11-12-25-8-{7}-15-17-56-58-69->13 A bad rendition of a song that wasn't that great in the first place to begin with. It is James and Anne-Marie both at their worst, can't stand their voices on this. These musical movie songs really need to stop being a chart force. Frozen 2 has a track in the top 40 however so it looks like that won't be happening anytime soon. #12. Kanye West - Closed On Sunday [39 points] {20}-68->2 Another half assed song from Kanye. #11. Russ and Tion Wayne - Keisha & Becky [50 points] 19-25-30-{7}-8-9-11-13-14-15-19-45-55-70-x(2)72-74-x(2)-75-67-64-67-73-63-65-71-75->25 I really enjoyed this actually, glad it's missed the top 10 here.
