I don’t follow sales normally...is this looking good for Harry to debut at number 1??

Any ideas of what could possibly go top 40 singles this week other than maybe a stormzy album track , a harry styles album track and more xmas songs. Hopefully Bobby Helms i would love to see in the top 40 as its never been there.

Exciting!! Still not confident for Harry but that's a very strong start nevertheless :D

Now Friday streams have been added the gap shrunk a little, not as much as I expected. I think the Monday figures will be more indicative once all the Saturday streams have been added too. But if Harry does some more physical variations I think he might have a better shot than I first expected tbh

Very interesting!! Obviously Stormzy's doing better on streams though Harry's not doing badly at all. Just depends how well Harry's physical sales can hold up as Stormzy is likely to be a more consistent seller...!

Okay sorry.

Looking like it'll be very close between the two as I expected then. IIRC Stormzy's debut album was not looking like a comfortable #1 (may not have been #1 at all?) on the last midweeks but benefited hugely from the stream upweighting at the end of the week, unsure if that was just a week where streaming data was lagging more than usual but either way would expect a big stream upweighting for Stormzy at the end of the week again anyway. But as Joseph has said Harry's streaming is not hugely behind Stormzy's so that effect may not be as big this time. Still hard to call ~ quite exciting to have unpredictable races (for now at least) for #1 on both charts for Christmas week!

So what are we thinking overall sales will be for Harry for his first week?? Is 24k with everything included or is there still data missing??

isn't it similar to what Taylor did with Lover? Think she did 23K in the Sun mids... but not 100% sure and cannot find the info anymore :)

Definitely...if he out sells his first album, which is likely, his first album sold 67k first week (if I remember correctly) then that’s all that matters. It would be great if he got to number 1. I wasn’t expecting it but it seems it’s closer than people were initially thinking, so that’s exciting just by its self😁

His debut had 57k in its first week, definitely a good chance 'Fine Line' will beat that based on these early figures.
