Yes! I am so proud of the girls! Confetti is a wonderful record. Can we see it getting a second lease of life in the USA?

The week they perform... there is little real competition... So they have a good chance of going top 3 (providing there's no "surprise release").

 

I'd actually say, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe (it's a Christmas album), Gary Borelow & Lewis Capaldi (ugh) are their biggest threats. LM have the Strictly promo but the others are very popular with the demographic who are likely to pick up a copy as they're doing their Christmas shops. I wouldn't rule out AC/DC still being a threat and ofc Michael Buble's Christmas album.

 

But on paper it looks like a good week to perform!

That week, they should discount the album to £7.99 or something on iTunes and if HMV are doing "Price Crash" again this year, they should do it on the Monday to capitalise on their Strictly promo.

They're 9 today, I don't see why they can't climb to 7/8. Kylie's fall last week was quite big, I doubt she'll rebound that high.

 

(i will blame myself though as i bought her amazon glow in the dark vinyl today haha)

They are supposedly at 9, and K is at #10. Confetti has done so well for the girls. I suspect a top ten for Confetti throughout December. Solid wall to wall of pop songs!

I know it may have been impossible because of Jesy, but I really wish the girls did a Confetti live event like Club 2054 and Infinite Disco. Would’ve been excellent promo and they could’ve shown it closer to the Christmas period. Dua’s got 5 million views.. even though their popularity is very different they still could’ve pulled in a LOT of people and they would’ve been able to showcase the entire album.

They did the Meerkat thing but I feel like that was very low key and they could have put a lot more into the promotion for it.

They could have pushed it worldwide on youtube - it would have been much bigger

I mean it should have also showcased Confetti. I want it to be the same as these other live experiences people are doing, it was a cute start but it could've been done to a bigger spectacle.

 

I did love how there weren't any dancers, just shows how they can still command a stage without the bells and whistles.

Once Christmas is over and Miley hype dies a bit this will easily return to #2 (behind Positions, obvi) and if they do a bit of promo in the New Year this could also return to #1.
