It was the usual "omg this hasn't impacted instantly. Flop" kinda mentality that annoyed me. :lol: coz it always happens and they end up doing fine aha.

 

Anywayyy... the album is £6.99 in today's hmv price crash. Online it's that with any other purchase, but in store you can get it for £6.99. ONE DAY ONLY.

 

However, I get why they did it today, but honestly Friday or Saturday would have been better as those days are ALOT busier and are LM strongest days of sales (at least for my store - they're always in the top 5 best artist album sellers of those days) not sure today will do much in all honesty.

Jesy's news + HMV sale means this album is headed back to the top ten!

It's going to be intriguing to see how the rest of the era is handled now. The most obvious thing is to move on because I don't see them rerecording vocals without Jesy's blessing and I can imagine it'd be upsetting and stress inducing for all involved. The 3 biggest contenders as future contenders ('Happiness', 'Confetti' and 'Gloves Up') are pretty heavy on Jesy vocals, so it's not even a case of shuffling around verses and adding a feature. At the same time I really don't want this era to be cut short. I'm sorry I'm sounding selfish aren't I. Urgh this is all so heartbreaking.

I think they should carry on with this album...

This album is too good to just drop.

Part of me hopes they carry on promoting the album with new singles. But also I wouldn't be too mad if they don't seeing as there has already been three successful singles and the album has done really well.

Yeah I really hope they don't end this era early. Personally I'd love to see Happiness and Breathe which I think would both be very fitting to end on. Keep Jesys vocals in like Mr C Joel said above and film videos with the 3.

Can this album sell 130-140K by end of the year?

Considering album #7 and the lead could be coming next year I doubt we’re going to get another single from confetti. maybe they had plans initially when Jesy was still in limbo but I think for the tour they need songs that do not feature Jesy.

I don't think he meant that at all? I think he meant they need a couple of new songs with the 3 of them for the tour! Something a couple of singles could do.

What I mean is for the tour it's going to be odd that all of their songs are sung with Jesy's vocals, so that means more pressure on the girls to cover it or like awkwardly dancing, in my opinion it would be best for them to have a new album out that is just Little Mix, post 2020, and then combine it with their big singles and then songs from Confetti, like what Ari did for the TUN tour.

 

The tour isn't happening in April, even with the vaccine I can't see it happening, they've got time to make a new album- an album isn't better or worse by the amount of time taken to create it. (Get Weird and Salute both prove this)

It's such a sticky situation with the tour. It just doesn't seem right that they will have to sing all of Jesy's parts from Confetti as well as their own. Also can't imagine them singing all of their past hits without her, like who is gonna say all the 'motorbikes' in Power now. :mellow:

 

I do agree with you and think if the three of them are gonna give it a proper go and try to continue as a three piece, they need to make new music that's just them.

yeah as much as I love the girls NO one can pull off any of her verses in Power. :(
