Ok I'll admit pushing this for number 1 was probably not the best option.

I'll be gutted if they slip to 3 though as it was looking like they'd match there peak.

I'm happy with another week top 3. They won't want to have the record for lowest selling #1 album ever.

As mentioned when Dua Lipa took the crown - The lowest selling #1 album is still a #1 album!

(much better than the lowest-selling #3 album as well)

I agree - they still outsold everyone else that particular week.

And it won't be lowest for long - it will get even lower soon.

Eurgh at Taylor releasing a deluxe...

Also sales really aren’t important anymore only with us chart fans.

The general public really only see the #1 status...

Did you really think they had a chance this week?
Yeah the expanded edition has already fallen out of the top 200 on ITunes, they’ll be lucky to be #2 this week with Harry doing well. It’ll take a pretty significant campaign to get it to #1 but I’m sure it’s possible at some point
I would argue that the GP actually don’t care about chart positions
Yeah I have to agree, they could care less haha

No but the deluxe will add to streams/sales next week...

So I can’t see them getting a #1 album next week either

I don’t think they care either, I should of worded it better.

I means in terms of any news/publicity that follows, they just see it as a number 1 single/album.

A lot of my friends don’t care at all about the chart, however some do notice when a songs been number 1 etc...

This number one will be as significant as Black Magic, if not more. I'd argue their charting career was at the same point it was after Salute underperformed.

I low key agree with them. Until Sweet Melody they did seem to have dropped to pre-Get Weird success (But this time they have a much bigger legacy).

This going to #1 and being a big smash as well should bring them back to the levels of instant support they had with Woman Like Me and Bounce Back when they next drop something brand new.

Deluxe edition of Taylor Swift's album is now available on digital and on streaming.

I think it's going to be hard for LM to be #01 this week.

Week After, new Zayn's album is out.

The same Zayn that peaked at #77 last year and has absolutely no hype around him?

I don’t think they will get it next week cause even if Taylor’s sales are low-ish, they need to at least PUSH a bit for Confetti to go #1. You were at least right about Taylor’s deluxe being an incentive for it to be #1, but Zayn is absolutely no threat to them.

iTunes banner a sign RCA have plans for this week?

They’ve had a banner since last week I think.

Oh I thought it got removed...

Unless the placement of it has just moved as it’s half showing on the homepage now.

Last week I’m sure it said “New Album” now it’s saying “incl. Sweet Melody”

It's still one of the more expensive prices on iTunes. 9.99. Sam, Dua etc are 4.99
