the new rumour is that the Confetti re-release is coming w/o Jesy BEFORE their trio debut, and then their debut trio album will be coming later.

It would help their sales but I don't see the point in doing that - unless they plan on releasing more singles from the album

I think it's sensible to do that, especially for the tour as they're gonna have to sing Jesy's parts anyway so why not make it official.

It would cost so much though? I get making it official, and I can't lie, part of me lowkey wants it lol but it seems very expensive to go through with it- especially as they're going to be releasing LM3 content anyway?

Yeah, it really wouldn’t make sense to do that. And honestly her vocals in most of the choruses aren’t that prominent (unless you’re listening for them) and they don’t usually use that much backing track on verses so I don’t think the tour will cause that much of an issue. They mostly just need to take out her ad libs.

I could see them rerecording a song if it's going to be a single but re recording an entire album I don't see that happening at all

I wouldn't see the point re-recording anything old past maybe one song if they wanted to release another single from the album as it is (which I doubt).

 

I can instead see them recording a one-off, new, non-album single as a trio to fill the gap between now and their album as a trio (along the lines of Bounce Back).

A new Confetti vinyl will be available on June 12th to celebrate Record Store Day!
