With GA they never used to have featured and LM have had that many over their career it would make a refreshing change. However I’m expecting a few and then a couple of post album singles to be pushed with a featured added :lol:

Well I mean I could imagine them doing a song with a Scream & Shout sequel beat, I'd rather that than a vocal.

Hoping it’s production based too rather than a feature.

Times are so much different now in regards to artists using/adding features (as has been said numerous times before :lol:) especially in the download/streaming crossover period. I see this era of "adding a feature" in the same way as I do with artists releasing a cheap cover in the noughties, you know? Nobody wants it, but it was an easier way to get a hit further into the campaign (and remember we used to get like 3 or 4 singles before the album was actually released - and songs were released with multiple formats (i.e. 4 CD Singles etc..)).

 

None of us want the features when the songs are just as strong on their own, but the fanbase know this and unfortunately nowadays, the public aren't interested unless it's force-fed to them and releasing a new version of the song gets it more attention.

I don't mind the features if they are well executed. The inclusion of a reasonably well known artist also compells more people to at least listen to the song once.

It does work but I hate how so many songs these days have feature, years ago features it duets were something to get excited about where now I get more excited about a song that doesn't have a feature.

Little Mix have registered the R&B version of k-pop’s SUPER JUNIOR “Sorry, Sorry”. I was skeptical but if it’s really the R&B version the song’s actually great and their vocals would sound great on it.
