I’ve just realized For Myself shares four songwriters with “Me, Myself & I”, I really hope it’s not a sample.

Bit random but where do you all think this will debut/peak?

I think it will definitely debut top 3 and if it’s a quiet week i could see it possibly debuting top 2 tbh. I’m not expecting huge sales though (maybe 30-40k) which is still impressive! It all depends on how the second single performs imo. But yeah i think it will definitely atleast go top 3!

Unless it's Q4 (Oct-Dec) I can't seen anywhere near 30k-40k. I'm expecting (at this point) about 15k-20k, but that's dependant on the 2nd single being a big hit.
Just that?! Wow I didn’t think things were that bad, that’s so few for them. I think they might be releasing it in August/September, no? It’s usually no more than a month between the single and the album.
Don’t think it’ll do better than LM5 on debut as it did 50k something and I don’t find that number realistic for them nowadays. But I expected 30k something at least.

Idk. I'd love that but sales are horrific rn. Dua did 34k on a much bigger singles campaign and off the back off a huge era. Little Mix are releasing on the back of a "decent"/mess of an era with a huge hit (hopefully 2!) but not as big as Don't Start Now/Physical (although Physical got off to a slow start iirc?) so we'll see. But I'm really not expecting anywhere near 30k (unless it's Oct-Dec sometime and that depends on promo)
I sort of think they have a more solid fanbase than Dua in the UK though. Could be wrong.

I think saying around 30k is very harsh lol, y'all act like they're a washed up act. They still have a lot of power in the UK, Break-Up Song may not have touched the success that Woman Like Me had however there's obviously a lot of factors that come into play for the reason why it didn't do as well.

From what I saw from both "locals" and general stan bases/twitter, Break-Up Song was more well received than Woman Like Me (Personally found WLM quite dated and boring.. really didn't feel like a Little Mix song at all whilst BUS is like.. quintessential Little Mix)

The second single will probably bang given what we know, maybe not as hard, but I think it will revive whatever died, although I don't consider a top 10 debut, 10+ weeks in the top 20 single "dying" given that it was released at the start of lockdown when literally every form of media was down in consumption. It wouldn't have been #1, but I feel like if lockdown wasn't happening BUS would've been top 5 easily and had a lot of longevity, I feel like the "video" was what killed the momentum, yeah they did what they could but it was still garbage and delayed lol.

I hope they don't release around Christmas, because their selling power is no longer higher than the Christmas album staple artists and I at least want another #1. I'm gunning for around 50k - 60k. And I'll die on that hill, I think this forum doesn't give them enough credit for their power within the UK.

New song “A Mess (Happy 4 U)” registered.

That song title!

Please be a sassy "Wasabi/Joan of Arc" sister track.

Not a "Told You So" style song - thanks.

Apparently the album’s ready?!

Omg. I was honestly starting to think they would just release in November tbh, maybe they will release it after Holiday?

August/September release?? It must be ready as they wouldn’t sit there and listened to half finished songs?!?

Not sure if this has been clocked, but a new song was registered over at BMI called "Nothing But My Feelings".

Leigh & Jade wrote it with Sean Douglas, Oak Felder, Alex Niceforo, James Norton (Motivate) & Keith Sorrells.

Douglas & Felder are pretty much staples within a lot of pop girls, especially in the US (5h, Ariana, Demi etc) whilst others have worked on a few recent songs. The common theme here seems to be Demi and Lizzo.

There’s a Little Mix & Zara duet confirmed but neither made Zara’s album
