POST MALONE- CIRCLES

156PTS

An first appearance from someone who has been quite regular in recent EOY countdowns. It is Post Malone who has had another good year from him. More great tunes from him. A first of a few from him in this countdown.

STORMZY- CROWN

At #28. It is Stormzy with this soulful tune 'Crown'. This with a choir. This was a masterpiece from him certainly different from 'Shut Up'.

CARDI B & BRUNO MARS- PLEASE ME

156PTS

It was a case of now 'Return The Favor' pardon the Keri Hilson/Timbaland pun for Cardi B & Bruno Mars as they collaborated again after 'Finesse'. Although in the minority about what I think of this. I really liked this from both. Like this side to Bruno Mars certainly different to 'Just The Way You Are' the one that got cheesy quickly and 'Locked Out of Heaven' which I could just never get into. Cardi B, she'll be back with a second studio album named after 'Tiger Woods'.

CHRIS BROWN- UNDECIDED

156PTS

Next a choice which will be unpopular. I apologise it is Chris Brown with 'Undecided' which samples Shanice's 'I Love Your Smile'. This the lead single from 'Indigo'. This just sounded good from him and I really liked the sample that he used in this.

LAUV & TROYE SIVAN- I'M SO TIRED

160PTS

Something different next with 'I'm So Tired' from Lauv featuring Troye Sivan. I would agree with him I get tired of love songs. It certainly worked for me from the two Australians. '**** I'm Lonely' however didn't really enjoy that.

HEADIE ONE- BOTH

160PTS

Next this from grime artist Headie One with his Ultra Nate sampling 'Both'. Sounding great from him, again a great sample. His legal problems however have left with a 6 month prison sentence. I hope he can come back and focus on his music as he's an artist I grown to like this year.

They'll be more on Monday.

Let me know what you think of the countdown so far.

Endor's Pump Up It Up is so much better than Danzel's version imo. I don't like all those verses in Danzel's version. -_-

Surprised to see Lauv & Troye Sivan I'm So Tired this high here. I didn't think you were addicted to this kind of pop music. :o

LOVE 'Please Me' and 'I'm So Tired', happy to see both songs here!

Some great songs here so far Mack, notably South of the Border, Boasty and Mad Love!
Thanks for commenting, Joseph. Glad this meet your approval.

Hi Jason,

'I'm So Tired' just clicked very well for me. Just enjoyed listening to it every time I heard it.

Thanks Riser, :)

SIGALA & BECKY HILL- WISH YOU WELL

160PTS

Starting this portion of the countdown we have this dance smash from Sigala and The Voice's Becky Hill. This was a summer tune. Definitely wouldn't get tired of this.

YOUNG T & BUGSEY FT AITCH- STRIKE A POSE

164PTS

The next two are probably very unpopular choices on here. I do apologise for that. The first one is this urban summer tune which just become a grower for me every time I listened to it from Young T & Bugsey featuring Aitch who makes his first apperance in the chart. Other songs from him will follow.

RUSS X TION WAYNE- KEISHA & BECKY

168PTS

Next, the second one which well probably be the most unpopular for people on here. We have 'Keisha & Becky'. I just thought was a great tune from them again I'm most likely in the minority could be the only one on Buzzjack who actually liked this. Then we had this remix:

Which featured Aitch, JAY1, Sav'O & Swarmz.

MEDUZA FT GOODBOYS- PIECE OF YOUR HEART

168PTS

Into the Top 20 now. And we have a favour of Italy with Meduza featuring Goodboys with this house tune. This was one of the dance songs of the year for me. Just wouldn't grow tired of this and 'Lose Control' as well that sounded great from them. It remains to be seen if more will follow in 2020 from Meduza.

KYGO & WHITNEY HOUSTON- HIGHER LOVE

172PTS

Next at #19 we have this smash from Kygo with a reworking of Whitney Houtson's cover of the Steve Winwood 1986 song. What transferred from Kygo was pure genius from him and vocals from the much-missed Whitney Houston. It become Kygo's most successful hit in the UK and Whitney Houston's higher-charting single in 20 years. Instantly liked this from them.

Here is the original from Steve Winwood:

ED SHEERAN FT EMINEM & 50 CENT- REMEMBER THE NAME

176PTS

Next an album track from Ed Sheeran from his No. 6 Collaborations Project which featured rap greats Eminem and 50 Cent. This turned out for me to an highlight for me from his album. Yes I know Ed Sheeran isn't for everyone. Great also to hear Eminem and 50 Cent on another track from two of my all time favourite rappers.

JAY SEAN- RIDE IT

180PTS

Next we have a blast from the past from 2008 from Jay Sean. This found a new sense of life thanks to a rework of this from Regard which charted at #2 in the UK. Unfortunately the rework doesn't appear in this countdown but it brought this tune back. But I'm glad that Jay Sean recognizsed Regard's rework in this becoming an bigger hit than the original. Anyway they collaborated in the end on the Top of The Pops New Years Special. Now I very much like both of them.
