wow BGT below 3m then? oops

Mrs Browns Boys falling, we love to see it

Once again, the ‘new’ show in the line up for BBC One almost coming out on top but they’ll still stick with the stale lineup for years to come

Shocking for the post 9pm schedule on both BBC and ITV - EE at an all-time Christmas Day low by far, BGT not even above 3m and MBB not even managing 4m.

The biggest surprise there is Blankety Blank which I was sure would perform badly or certainly not within 0.2m of the highest rated programme.

That’s odd for Masked Singer, I wouldn’t have thought its audience really overlapped with The Repair Shop and whilst it may be odd to launch a show on Boxing Day, it seems the perfect fit for the Christmas period. Seems ITV can’t really catch a break at Christmas and might actually be better off sticking to the endless Harry Potter repeats!

Apparently the 16-34 demo did better than the s1 launch (which had a total of 5.5m viewers). It seems the older audience must have collapsed in favour of The Repair Shop.

A decent start for Black Narcissus. Apparently a poor night for ITV again last night but no figures are in the public domain yet.

I was half expecting Countryfile or Antiques Roadshow to be the first non-Queen show to pass 6m overnight for the Christmas week but I guess not!
