Mariah was my most-streamed artist of 2025!

20 years ago today, Mariah Carey scored her 17th number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Don't Forget About Us".

Mariah's album "Glitter" has been removed from all streaming platforms. No one knows the reason as of yet. Could be something to do with the record label.

Hope it is restored soon! I regularly listen to ‘Lead the Way’ and ‘Never Too Far’.

It's frustrating that they took Glitter off and didn't even tell us why... and if it will ever return or whatever.

It's one of my most streamed MC albums. I miss it deeply.

In a recent Mariah interview there was a suggestion that "Glitter 25" will happen, so hopefully that's true and it'll come back for the anniversary. But it was very odd to remove the album without explanation. ☹️

That must've been why it was removed from all streaming platforms. Glitter deserved better. I hope that its 25th anniversary edition gets more people listening to it. #JusticeForGlitter

Before it was taken down, it received more streams than Caution and often surpassed Charmbracelet as well and in summer of 2025, it even rivalled Elusive Chanteuse.

The fact that Mimi almost had nothing in the vault for this, was disappointing tbh.

She has at keast 2 hardcore good tracks in the Memoirs vault for example. (Skydiving and Imperfect).

The best of all her anniversary editions was Rainbow. I'm living for TGIFY solo and Rainbow's End and There for Me. Music Box is 2nd with the 2 new songs.

(Butterfly is the worst.... nothing new, not 1 single song).

"Anytime You Need A Friend" is certified Silver in the UK!

Now, Mariah has 16,0 million UK singles certs. <3

Today marks 18 years since the release of Mariah's 11th studio E=MC² (UK release date!). It peaked at #3 in the UK, and also #1 in the US.

This album now represents the half way point of her career (her debut album came out in 1990, 18 years prior to E=MC²).

Album includes the US Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit Touch My Body, and follow up singles Bye Bye, I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time and I Stay in Love.

I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time that should have been an summer hit.
