I hate it a little bit more with every semi-celeb that tweets about it

The performance/video I can see why people are into, but I don’t see anything fun about the song itself, it’s so monotonous

Yeah 100%, like the idea is cute, the performance is memorable, but at the end of it you still have to have a song that matches that which for me it just doesn't. As a song that could win Eurovision, this would be one of the worst of the past decade for me.

I actually fell for the song immediately when the songs were released in January! It's so catchy and fun and the lyrics are really cute as it's him talking to his 10 month old daughter.

I am LOVING the song, it's really good

but celebs making this viral before the contest, can you not, especially the ones that insinuate that it should obviously win as if nothing else matters, because this is nowhere near set yet and it won't win.

On the one hand, I’m glad we have this sort of entry in the mix. On the other hand, I’m not rushing to hit repeat either.

Interestingly "Think About Things" is now No. 23 on the Spotify chart in Lithuania with some 2400 plays which is funny because many consider LT to be Daði's biggest competition and it is hot on his heels in the odds at the moment.

Spotify positions 05.03

01 (=) Iceland

16 (23) Lithuania

175 (NE) Belgium

iTunes positions 05.03

16 Finland

30 Ireland

39 Belgium

65 United Kingdom

72 Netherlands

133 Worldwide

188 Germany

195 France

This didn’t catch my ear when listening to all the Icelandic national final’s songs initially on Spotify but it’s permanently lodged in my head now. The aesthetic and performance is such a huge part of this one but it’s an irresistibly catchy track too.

I watched the video for this without realising it was a eurovision entry and I really liked it, can see why it's tipped to do well.

My views on this have... already slated it :kink: Love to see what they will come up with next year... probably a remix version.

I'm actually not very optimistic that RUV will be up for letting Söngvakeppnin go in order to send Daði again. Maybe he'll write a song for someone else or something but I've got a feeling we won't be seeing him in Rotterdam 2021. Honestly not sure whether I want him to be our rep again or not personally, I feel sending him again might not be a good move.

I can't believe how well this has done in the UK chart. I really like it but it is unusual for any Eurovision-related song to do this well.

It's one of those rare Eurovision songs that's managed to gain a wider audience outside of the Eurovision fanbase (thanks to social media), many probably don't even know it's from the contest.

It happened back in 1999 with Precious - Say It Again, it had a ton of radio play and became a top ten hit to the point where many were genuinely surprised when it appeared on the recent upload of that year's contest, having no idea it was a Eurovision song until now.
