Fine Line has passed 150k and it's still yet to leave the top 10. To put that into context:

- Fine Line has spent longer in the top 10 than the self-titled album spent in the entire top 40 (13 weeks top 10 vs 12 weeks top 40)

- Fine Line has spent the same time in the top 10 as FOUR spent in the entire top 40 (13 weeks top 10 vs 13 weeks top 40)

The self-titled is selling roughly 1k a week at the moment, meaning it's roughly 41 weeks from that long-awaited platinum certification. Fine Line still has another 150k to go, but it's fair to say it'll probably leapfrog the self-titled and become the first solo 1D album to be certified platinum.

Heartbreak Weather goes straight in at #1, making Niall the third 1D member to get a #1 solo album. This makes One Direction only the second band EVER to have three members with chart-topping albums, after The Beatles!

Its first week sales are actually lower than Louis had though, interestingly. A look at their first week sales:

237,338 Midnight Memories [01]

155,316 Take Me Home [01]

141,780 FOUR [01]

138,631 Up All Night [02]

093,189 Made In the A.M. [01]

056,630 Harry Styles [01]

049,082 Fine Line [03]

022,703 Flicker [03]

022,250 Mind of Mine [01]

014,729 Walls [04]

014,300 Heartbreak Weather [01]

009,910 LP1 [17]

003,043 Icarus Falls [77]

Elsewhere, Fine Line overtakes FOUR in total top 40 week territory.

Updated. New figures for THREE 1D albums - Take Me Home (again - we've had weekly new figures for this for a while), Made in the A.M. (for a second week), and FOUR! :o
FOUR deserved more sales, but obviously it's impressive when it was a rather short era!

Updated. Take Me Home has re-entered the top 100 for the first time in 6 years :o

We've got updated sales for that, Midnight Memories, FOUR and Made In the A.M. too! :o As well as both Harry albums, Heartbreak Weather, and also LP1 for the first time in a little while.

No updates on Flicker  or UAN...

Their album are climbing on iTunes and re-entering some charts WW but I'm surprised UAN isnt that high

Updated. All of the albums that had new figures last week also have new figures this week - none for Up All Night, Walls, Flicker or Zayn x2 I'm afraid.

Fine Line is one week off matching Made In the A.M.'s entire top 40 weeks... without ever leaving the top 10. It's doing impressively well still - it's almost doubled Take Me Home's top 10 weeks! :o

LP1 sold 900 :o

They hate Niall and Zayn, ages without updates

All of the albums with updated sales are charting in the UK top 200, that's how I have updates. The only people hating Niall and Zayn must be the UK public lol

One Direction albums holding on great in Ireland again this week

Take me Home 18 up 5 places

Midnight Memories 33 up 7 places

Four 36 up 6 places

Made in the AM 37 up 7 places

Harry Styles Fine Line 6 down 2 places

Niall Horan Heartbreak Weather 7 down 1 place

Niall Horan Flicker 60 up 5 places

Harry Styles Harry Styles 69 up 30 places

8 group related albums in total is great for them.

How bizarre that they're so high up in Ireland

Up All Night is at #87 too. Seems weird that it's doing significantly worse than the other albums. It's a similar story in the UK where Up All Night isn't Top 200 but the other four albums are.

Updated - new figures for all of the same albums once again.

Fine Line reaches 20 weeks top 10, doubling Take Me Home's previous record. It also matches Made In the A.M.'s total top 40 weeks.

Fine Line smashing! I really am pleasantly surprised tbh. Not only at how good the album is but how it performed I sort of expected a big drop week two with it being a Xmas time release but the fact it’s never left the top 10 is amazing and well deserved. The album really was unlucky as it’s debut sales are like double what so many albums have easily went to #1 with!

Also was very impressed at the groups sales across their albums. 2 albums over 1m sales and a third album very close to 1m is great going! I think my favourite album them is either Midnight Memories or Four I’ll have to listen again at some point I did think they kind of grew a lot between the third and fourth eras but Zayns departure meant that Made In The Am for me wasn’t as strong but I’d probably still say I prefer it to their first two albums.

Solo Zayn kinda deserved better too. His debut may have went to #1 but it’s quick chart run was sad to see and the performance of his second album was awful and undeserved! I do think he could potentially claw back and find some success again but perhaps he’s more of a singles artist?

Just noticed you've listed Made in the AM as entering the charts in August instead of November, Joseph!

I too am really impressed by the sustainability of Fine Line. I thought it might move back up the Top 10 in January but I wasn't expecting it to still be there now! Shouldn't be a problem overtaking the total of his debut album.
