Just noticed you've listed Made in the AM as entering the charts in August instead of November, Joseph!

I too am really impressed by the sustainability of Fine Line. I thought it might move back up the Top 10 in January but I wasn't expecting it to still be there now! Shouldn't be a problem overtaking the total of his debut album.

Oops, thanks for pointing it out! Fixed :D

I'm so pleased with how Fine Line has done, it's completely blown my expectations away, I just wish it could sneak a new peak. They should release a couple of bundles and discount the album to push for it to make #1 on a quiet week, but I doubt they will :( nevertheless, he'll be on 2 platinum albums before long, highly impressive in this day and age, especially as neither have had a huge Q4 boost either! (Fine Line's first week or two aside)

No problem!

It would be great if it could make #1, perhaps when shops open again and they decide to push another single, maybe a timely discount too, the album could sneak a week at the top. Going by its consistency in the Top 10, it's not necessarily going to need a huge boost to make it if it was a quiet week for releases.

Regardless, as you say, two Platinum albums not particularly boosted by the Q4 market is quite a feat!

Updated. Harry self-titled is back in the top 100 for the first time since the 2 year anniversary vinyl came out last July! Just one spot below Take Me Home.

Fine Line's back up to its #3 peak for the first time! :o Perhaps there's a chance at some point fairly soon for a new peak?

Harry Styles has totally outperformed the other two album who outpeaked him on that opening week! Such a shame he missed out on the #1 spot.

Take Me Home is top 100 for yet another week at #100, while Heartbreak Weather drops to #101.........!!!!

No LP1 sales update this week but we otherwise have updates for the latter 4 1D albums, Harry x2 and Heartbreak Weather.

Updated!

Some 1D certification estimates:

- Midnight Memories is selling just over 900 copies a week. If it keeps going at this rate, it should cross 1m in the final chart of 2020! As for 4x plat, March 2025

- Made In the A.M. is selling just under 1000 a week roughly, if it continues at that rate it's on track for 2x plat roughly at the end of August 2021.

- Take Me Home's doing ~1.2k, it should make 4x plat in December 2021.

- FOUR's selling similarly - it'll go 3x plat in May 2024 at this rate!

- God knows about Up All Night, still no updates for that one.

In Harry news, Fine Line spends a 28th week in the top 10, and a 12th week in the top 5 without ever going higher than #3. Insane - I can't wait to see how many weeks it racks up in the top 10 in total. It's now matched the entire top 40 run of Midnight Memories, without ever leaving the top 10...!! The self-titled album also moves up to #87, marking its longest stint in the top 100 since 2018.

Certification estimates:

- Fine Line should hit platinum in October if it sells at this rate. This is perhaps the hardest to predict as its sales will surely sink in that time but hopefully it'll see a Q4 uptick and still manage it by the end of the year!

- HS1 is selling ~1.3k a week right now, at that rate it's on for platinum in November. By the end of 2020 we should have both Harry albums certified platinum!! :D

For Niall, Heartbreak Weather has now outsold the last known total for LP1 (at last...!). LP1's not had an update in a couple of weeks so it'll still be ahead, but we can safely say Niall will have actually overtaken within a few weeks. As for Heartbreak Weather's certification, this is also quite hard to predict (as it's relatively new and dropping in sales each week), but if it sold its current tally of 1.1k a week, it'll go silver in November.

A guess for Liam as well while we're at it - the last I knew, LP1 was selling ~800 copies a week. Still possible - last week's #200 sold 827 copies! If we assume it's still doing around 800 a week, it'll now be on 39,300, set to reach silver in the second last week of 2020.

As for the rest - genuinely no idea, we've not had recent enough updates on them!

Summary of my estimations! (in order)

October 2020 - Fine Line (platinum)

November 2020 - Harry Styles (platinum)

November 2020 - Heartbreak Weather (silver)

December 2020 - LP1 (silver)

December 2020 - Midnight Memories (1 million sales)

August 2021 - Made In the A.M. (2x platinum)

December 2021 - Take Me Home (4x platinum)

May 2024 - FOUR (3x platinum)

March 2025 - Midnight Memories (4x platinum)

Thanks for those stats, Joseph!

Tremendous success for the group albums, even though it does bewilder me slightly that their albums experienced a seemingly sudden and drastic increase in streaming that has been maintained for months now.

I'm really impressed with the consistency of Fine Line, and I really hope it can find a week where it manages a better peak than #3.

A pity that Heartbreak Weather has struggled a bit outside of its first week  I actually heard it a week or so ago and it's a strong album.

I have a total of 38,392 for LP1 on 19th June - it sold 799 in that week and was technically #205! It was 12 copies behind #200 (811). So I'd guess 39,200 as of 26th June.

All albums still charting here in Ireland

Updated! Fine Line's officially overtaken Midnight Memories' top 40 weeks, without ever leaving the top 10. Insane!

Harry Styles the album is up to #82, again its highest position since the anniversary vinyl release just under a year ago. Take Me Home's back in the top 100 again too!

Updated! HS1 climbs up to #69 this week and Take Me Home also climbs, pretty good going for both albums. Sales updates for the final 4 1D albums, both Harry albums and Heartbreak Weather once again. The latter's now outsold the last known LP1 total again but with Liam selling consistently, it might take another couple of weeks for Niall to actually be ahead.

Fine Line now on TRIPLE Take Me Home's top 10 weeks - 30 vs 10 :o :o
