That’s amazing. I expected a top 3 debut but not 1m wow amazing and I can’t recall many other females doing that.

 

I expected a Justin takeover tbh not so much challenging for number one but expected at least half his album to be comfortably top in the top 25.

Other New ones include Sam Smith at #30, Tame Impala at #34 & #41 (and a number of others lower down top 200), Migos at #44 and Bieber at #18, #36, #40 and #43. All his songs made top 200 but a couple missed top 100 which is pretty disappointing considering his status

Would anyone have any figures as to what are the biggest 1 day totals (excluding Christmas songs) please?

from memory can only think of Ed going over 1 million

as posted above, I Don't Care opened with 1,180,000

 

just checked and on debut day, Shape and Castle did:

Shape of You 1,280,000

Castle on the Hill 1,242,000

and they stayed many days > 1 million

 

when Divide was released, Shape went back to doing > 1 million, 1,146,000 on album release date

but actually there were a few versions released so combining them all Shape did

1,146+324+67+42= 1,579,000

 

Galway Girl started just below 1 million but went to do > 1 million a few times, peaking at 1,106,000 (I think)

 

How quickly did "I Don't Care" drop off? I'm guestimating Billie's figures to maybe half over the next week.
