they need to add the Tom Grennan song to HH, it's #42 now on Apple Music but not top 200 on Spotify :/ could be his first top 40 hit if added
He deserves to miss the top 40 forever after the butchering of 'City Of Stars' he gave tbh :puke: (I didn't even dislike him before, but that really crossed the line :arrr:)

 

Also, out of all the songs from 'To All the Boys: P.s. I Still Love You' to take off, why can't it be MARINA!? :cry:

Just listened to that 24kGoldn song and it sounded absolutely nothing at all like I was expecting - completely different genre to his previous (awful) US hit 'VALENTINO'. It's definitely an improvement ~ sounds pretty good. Apparently the two songs are next to each other on his EP, how is that supposed to flow at all :lol: I guess he's trying to do a Post Malone kind of thing, if those two songs are anything to go by he should definitely stick to these more pop-rock style songs.

 

The Powfu song is nice enough, would prefer if beabadoobee were getting success with one of her own songs instead but I won't complain at this one doing well.

I did some research on that Powfu song.

 

It's been avaliable on YouTube for over a year now, but couldn't be put on other streaming services as the beabadoobee sample of Coffee wasn't cleared - which is probably why it's done so well out of nowhere.

It's also - shock of a lifetime - big on TikTok. So I guess it's kind of similar to 'Blueberry Faygo' in that it was already popular on TikTok but not yet commercially released due to sample clearance issues.

I noticed Spotify have launched the New Pop UK playlist in the last few days, located next to HHUK in the Pop genre for me.

 

Some decent tunes there including one from my first BJSC entry!

Just noticed that Billie Eilish's 'ocean eyes' has got a new Spotify peak of #63 today, very weird to see a song from 2 eras ago rising to a new peak now for no particular reason as far as I'm aware (on its 282nd day in the top 200 in total). 'lovely' also rising a lot to #56 which is only 6 places below its current peak. Big rises for most of the album tracks from WWAFA,WDWYG? as well (but not 'bad guy' for whatever reason).

yay actually Ocean Eyes might be my fav song of hers!!
