EastEnders have confirmed its back on air Monday 7th September

Brilliant that we’re only 3 weeks from the return. Next Tuesday is the last classic episode which is a shame because despite advertising it, they haven’t aired the Kat/Zoe reveal. Carter Christmas and a Ballum episode are the priorities clearly.

The kat Zoe reveal should be aired as it was and still is a real classic.

The show was a bit of a mess/chore before it went off air, but I've actually missed it! Looking forward to its return.

I have missed it but i think the soaps could all do with cutting back on episodes, i think 3 is enough of any soap in the week and i think if they did that (which they wont) the quality will go up.

I didn't really miss Eastenders. It had been a chore to watch for so long. I hope the break has given them renewed enthusiasm and ideas.

It’s certainly provided an ample opportunity to step back and reset, though some storylines naturally have to continue. Hopefully it just feels that little bit refreshed

Well they’ve admitted they’ve fast forwarded the Keegan and Tiff grief which was 100% the right decision. I just hope Sonia’s story wasn’t dropped after literally an episode.

Hopefully they have used the time to really beef up the storylines and add some much needed life into it again, im all for less focus on keegan and tiffany unless they give them some light hearted stuff.

No Secrets episode on 31st and the final new episode is on the 1st with Jessie and Lacey. A compilation of clips and unseen interview bits will air on the 4th.
