I’d have much rather had Staceys return be pushed back a week and had this weeks episodes focus on the family of Chantelle.

 

I mean tonight only Mitch appeared from her family! Last nights should’ve been an episode of just Mitch, Karen, Keegan, Bernie, Gray and the two children and then following on tonight we see Kheerats reaction and the rest of the square etc. Maybe even see something from Bailey via Zoom / a video or something too.

 

It feels as though we’ve missed some episodes but we haven’t if that makes sense. They’d have been enjoyable episodes at almost any other time but after such an incredible set of episode last weeks and covering ground on a domestic abuse storyline whats never ended that way in soap I wish we got way more of an immediate aftermath.

They’ve cast Simone Lahbib (Helen Stewart from Bad Girls!!!!!!) in a storyline linked to the Carter’s.

We need to see Bernie and Keegan react. From what we’ve seen of Karen she has been great.

 

Mitch I guess is in some state of disbelief / shock hence his reaction so far. I find it realistic in a way when I hear bad news like that I can come across like I’m not bothered by it I’m not much by it. I hope we get way more scenes with them soon though. We definitely needed more of an immediate aftermath to what we got but I’m hoping we get one in the coming weeks.

 

Chantelle’s body would surely raise some questions though. She’d have had injuries on her that would’ve been unrelated to the wound from the knife what killed her thats got to be flagged at some point.

Definitely her previous injuries will gave to come into it at some point.

It had never crossed my mind at all that Mica Paris' arrival would have anything to do with Raymond, I expected her to be some never mentioned cousin :lol:

Yes at Denise getting a big story. A little similar to Sonia getting Bex back all those years ago though. So much potential in this given the boy is a Mitchell by blood.

I’m also here for Denise getting a long overdue big story of her own!

Always only set to be in the show for a limited amount of time. Sounds like they had a set story created from the off so it might be quite a good exit.

That’s a shame. He’s not the best but he’s barely been given a chance. I don’t buy that thing about the storyline though.
