March 13Mar 13 Putin somewhat agrees with the ceasefire on the condition it leads to lasting peace and not a chance for Ukraine to regroup. So whether it actually comes to fruition is still up in the air
March 13Mar 13 Hard to say how it will go with the White House being an unpredictable force here - but that's definitely a rejection of the current peace plan and pushing the US to return with something more favourable to Russia. Layered in his actions and words is the idea that it doesn't fulfil the Russian vision of why he started the war in the first place.Which is to say that the US is going to find negotiations very difficult if they don't give everything to Russia (which they should not do, to be clear).

Not sure which way this one goes, expect Trump probably getting bored and changing the subject and giving up. The temporary ceasefire on energy infastructure is absolutely useless. Russia would be giving up on hitting that in a few weeks regardless after the winter.

April 28Apr 28 Putin has announced a 3-day ceasefire will begin in the Russia-Ukraine war from 8th May. Ukraine hasn't yet responded.
April 28Apr 28 Artifice. It pretends to have a ceasefire, which it then materially violates, to then bend the ear of weak, wobbly, Manchurian Trump.

Also I wouldn’t be incentivising the US famous for warmongering and weapon manufacturers to exchange weapons for natural resources as there will always be an excuse for more weapons in that case.
May 11May 11 BBC NewsZelensky offers to meet Putin after Trump demands Ukraine..."I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally," the Ukrainian leader says after Trump urged him to "have the meeting, now!"Will be hard for either side to pull out of such talks now. Putin proposed it and Zelenskyy initially said he’d meet if a ceasefire happened first but now says he’ll meet this Thursday in Istanbul regardless. So that will be the first face to face in a long long time
May 12May 12 All I can think of is the poisoned diplomats that have met Russia... He should be very careful, wear gloves, have security, take his own food and drink. Putin is a bad faith actor.
May 12May 12 Lol I was naive for thinking it would happen. Russia has pulled our. They probably did it as propaganda for Trump, expecting Ukraine not to agree.

May 12May 12 Same old Putin, always moving goalposts. The trumps of the world will fall for it as per usualRussia don’t want peace, they don’t want to end the war, they want to destroy Ukraine. Let’s not forget Russia can end the war any time they want to by f***ing off and leaving the country they illegally f***ing invaded.
May 12May 12 It's not a war that's the point, it's an invasion by Russia, an illegal invasion that the world sits by and watched... just like Israel with Palestine. Sickening. 😩
May 14May 14 I always thought when I heard this news at the weekend I would be hugely surprised if Putin went and met Zelenskyy face to face, it was always going to be diplomats or Lavrov et Al!
