Grows with each listen, really good album. Really not getting the poor/average reviews at all. Seems the few of us that have given it a go are in agreement as well!

Been listening to it all weekend and I think it’s incredible - on my first listen I wasn’t sure but it’s totally got me now, solid from start to finish.

'Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus' is a nice middle ground compared to the other two singles for me - much better than 'Bad Decisions' (which I only ever gave one listen oops) but still not a patch on 'At The Door' which is a really ~special~ song, one of my fave songs of the year so far. Doubt I'll get around to the album but their comeback has been v worth it for that song alone.

It's worth it for some of the songs you haven't heard tbf, "Selfless" for example, and "Not The Same Anymore". It all gets better with each listen.

'Ode To The Mets' is another great song (2nd fave I've heard from this era behind 'At The Door'), why wasn't this one of the singles dropped before the album xx

 

Some of the melody of it is reminding me heavily of Anastacia's 'Left Outside Alone'. Lol ~
