This is quite risky placement in the album for this song really, after the entirety of TOTD being bangers (deluxe edition notwithstanding) this shows a massive change of pace for the band and I have to say, I quite like it! Not a go to, but not a turn off either!

Clouds is really good, the chorus has that kinda anthem feel to it and a soultry upbeat sound but it def suffered a little for following on from what the future holds and something in your eyes.

It was probably always around a 7 for me but its moving nearer to an 8 now.

I hate that they paid this dust on tour but it is a bit of a rush in that they may not have been able to keep up with it.

 

Also, if Lee continues to pull that pose in the video, I’m gonna punch him on the nose.

Indeed! And also the ‘in the clouds, in the clouds’ feels a bit repetitive. Still, the song is very decent!

To the beat of my heart has such a great chorus, sometimes the verses let it down but the chorus is a real ear worm.

To the beat of my heart def has grown on me alot more, i always liked it in a 7 or 8 type way but its a 9 now.

To the beat I really enjoy. So uplifting, love that. I was a bit disappointed with the ‘lyric video’ as I was expecting a full one. Nice to see them having genuine fun!

I actually don’t mind this one either. I don’t really have a lot to say about it but I don’t hate it. The first half of this album really is very strong!
