May 6, 20205 yr I love season 3! Stealing the baby and then putting it in a bin!! Classic Villanelle! And you hear the shouts in the background and see people picking the baby up, the sirens wailing, as she just has a casual conversation nearby! The actress is amazing. Impeccable accents and across several languages too! I cannot :cheeseblock: Also, I knew that Dasha would kill Eve's husband as soon as she was told she had to drive a wedge between them And with a pitch fork!! Interesting to see if Eve will fall for it! I assume she will, for a while, for drama. Also, the scenes are supposed to be ridiculous. It is meant to be a wacky show.
May 6, 20205 yr I'm intrigued by Villanelle's backstory/her family! Can we give her more scenes with random babies please?
May 6, 20205 yr I'm loving S3, S2 I did love but like it felt like it had a shelf life whereas I feel like this series is keeping it fresh and giving it legs, every episode they've pulled off a gasp moment that's thrown things in a direction I didn't think it was gonna go. It's great to be kept guessing like that, in a show like this that's what you need! I feel like Villanelle's backstory alone could fill the rest of the series but then we've got so many other twists and turns to come with everyone else.
May 8, 20205 yr I think it was a slower couple of episode or so but it’s really picked back up with the next two!! Poor Eve is really getting hit by this season though, give her something to be happy about that isn’t a relationship with Villanelle! I definitely loved that scene with the baby though, never thought I’d laugh so much about a baby being out in a bin. The whole scene was such perfection as you saw and heard everything kicking off in the background without it ever being the focus. I fear Carolyn may not make it through the series! I feel at least there’s more to come with her daughter - you don’t cast a bigger name in that role and have her done nothing (which she hasn’t really done so far)!
May 9, 20205 yr I think it may be the daughter who killed Kenny. She seems to be constantly pushing Carolyn to ‘let her in’ or, in other words, give her information...
May 9, 20205 yr I didn't think of that, but interesting! There definitely has to be something more coming with her.
May 11, 20205 yr Loved this week's episode! It was great seeing a different focus on the story and the whole thing was a huge amount of fun.
May 11, 20205 yr I just binge watched season 1 since this morning and onto season 2! This is incredible
May 12, 20205 yr season 3 started slow but the last 3 episodes have been genious loved yesterday's episode with the family visit in Russia
May 12, 20205 yr I thought it was one of the worst oops, it was fun but completely predictable. I guess as a one-off kind of bottle episode it was fine as something different.
May 12, 20205 yr I hope we get more scenes between Villanelle and her brother, was very good to see how much she cares about her family, even after blowing up her mothers house. I truly stan Villanelle more than anybody
May 12, 20205 yr I liked the last episode in places was weird to have an entire episode without the title character though!
May 12, 20205 yr I'm 1 episode ahead, as the next episode you can find it on iPlayer, I must admit Episode 1 was a bit slow to begin with, the killing of Kenny was one scene I didn't see coming, at that point I was hooked. The episode where she dumped the baby in the bin was quite hilarious. Love Season 1 and 2, Season 3 gets better and better each week, but there will come to a point where Jodie Comer moves away from the series, she has got potential to get stronger roles into blockbuster movies she is starring in a upcoming movie Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds this December. I remember seeing her in an episode of BBC1 series Waterloo Road and a double episode in Silent Witness.
May 12, 20205 yr Yeah, I can't see the series continuing without either of the leading actresses - or if it did, I'd be amazed if it was anywhere near as good. Villanelle in particular is one of the best characters I've ever seen on a tv show
May 12, 20205 yr I read that there’s going to be a series 4 but with the deaths of Kenny and Nico, it’s leaving a lot of the original characters limited! I know we’re supposed to feel for Eve but I’m rooting for Villanelle!
May 12, 20205 yr It has been getting much better, the latest episode was like This Country but set in Russia for the most part, I loved it  even if it did bring the story to a halt just as it got really interesting. Nico had REALLY past his ultimate contribution to the show (his storyline/affair in Season 2 was excruciatingly dull) so I approve of that turn of events. Villanelle is wonderful as ever, but Eve has been a bit frustrating to watch this season, I want her being a bit more active, I feel like this could be it though! I feel like the show definitely shouldn't do too many more seasons though, one more at best. The real heart is the two characters, especially together I'd love to see a concluding season where they're together more and not constantly chasing each other!
May 13, 20205 yr I think Carolyn killed Kenny! There’s still no explanation as to why she visited Villanelle in Russian prison!
May 13, 20205 yr That’s a good shout too! I definitely think it’s someone from his family, that would explain why he was so interested in finding out more
May 13, 20205 yr That’s a good shout too! I definitely think it’s someone from his family, that would explain why he was so interested in finding out more I’m convinced she’s part of the 12, she shows of everywhere and knows everything my guess is that Kenny was close to finding something out and she couldn’t control him as he didn’t work for her. Even the whole set up of Rome, I can see it being Carolyn who’s the main antagonist!
