this is what I hate about the music industry and labels

someone comes backwash a shitty song but her labels lots of $$$ so

the song gets added to all radio and streaming playlists no matter what

but at least iTunes is showing how bad the song is, she cannot even get the 10 sales a song needs to go top 100

It's OKAY but she is capable of so much more than this. I'm worried for the album if this is what her label are wanting to lead with..

I honestly find it hard to fathom that this is the same artist that released 'Anything Could Happen' and 'Figure 8' eight years ago. Like, the sheer regression. Even 'Close to Me' and 'Sixteen' feel so far beneath her, as much as I bopped to them.

This, like 'Hate Me', is just... fundamentaly unpleasant to listen to. Even the vocals are appalling. The fact that even her biggest stans are rejecting this speaks volumes.

This is SO bad oh my god, it sounds like a regression even from Hate Me

Why is Ellie randomly holding chickens in the video SENDING me?

Song is alright but alright in a "I'd maybe listen a few times if this was from an up and coming artist" kinda way. Sigh.

It's actually quite sad when I sit and think about it like that :(

See, this is what happens when you keep the Queen of Christmas from her rightful number one - apparently you go crazy and flop.

Oh well, next!

at least, that is cohesive, bad song gets bad video

Artists have different levels of artistry. Who’d have thought Gaga could give us ‘joanne’ & ‘a million reasons’ but also ‘jewels & drugs’ and then ‘stupid love’?!
