Agreed! Especially when other similar artists have several songs with views above even Madonna's most viewed.

 

I think it could have been down to Madonna not having all her videos on her VEVO page like other artists. It's only recently that her views have started to climb higher and be more of a reflection of her status, possibly helped by YouTube combining official channels under one umbrella channel.

I'm really looking forward to it overtaking Bitch, I'd hate for people to think that monstrosity is what she's most famous for!

It is but it randomly started taking off a couple of years ago after only being on something like 20m views, definitely must be on some sort of playlist but I've not figured it out yet.
